From what you could remember and was told, you were adopted when you were a few months old by Barry Burton.

Barry Burton was not only the most amazing father you could ask for, but a respectable, reliable and bravest person in the world and overall a man sent by god himself.

Barry wasn't your biological father. You never knew your biological family. Barry and his wife Kathy had took you in and raised you as their own when you were found. You were just a small baby wrapped in a few blankets outside their doorstep.

Kathy Burton was a proud, brilliant and brave woman and a guardian angel. She was the person you could rely on the most, especially when it came to certain conversations involving boys.

However despite being adopted, you were extremely close with your father and rarely left his side. Although you were heartbroken finding out the truth, yet you weren't treated any differently, or looked down upon by any one — including your younger siblings: Polly and Moira.

Moira Burton was a young charismatic and brave girl who could be a tough cookie at times and also stubborn. She is often familiarised with your father for these traits.

Polly Burton was the exact opposite and was more calm and sweet like her mother and considered the innocent spirit of the family.

When you found out one day your mother was pregnant, you were ecstatic about it. Even more so when you found out were gonna be a big sister again to not only one but two sisters. You absolutely adored and spoiled those two peanuts and did practically everything sisters do together, telling each other's secrets, going on trips and overall teaching them everything they needed to know in life.

It was heartwarming to know that you had a family that cared for you, despite not sharing the same bloodline. After all—'Blood is thicker than water'.

Your past had never interfered with you or your family. Though it seemed as if your parents knew something you didn't in regards to your past. Although they never elaborated on the subject or ever spoke about it.

Yet at times, you did feel different from the rest of your family.

But you often pushed that feeling aside and focused on your career. You studied hard hoping to become a member of the special forces, like Barry. You always looked up to your father when you were younger. You were considered a 'daddy's girl' growing up. Since he was your role model and you always wanted to follow in his footsteps, by helping people for a living.

That he made a promise from day one to keep you safe and away from danger, and he seemed to take that promise to heart.

However you had no idea that things were about to change for... you
