It was 2005, July 27, 12:34 am with a thunderstorm outside. Me, my mom and my two siblings were inside my room, because my room was the only one without a leak. We live on a farm in the countryside. Our farm was far away from the city because my dad owns a large land.

The storm was so bad that water was everywhere, who knows how many critters are in the basement. I'm only six, for a child my age of course I would be hugging my mother's side. Alexa and Marilyn were on their phones not caring about the weather. My dad was in the city doing business stuff with his friend.

"I'm thirsty..." I told my mom, shivering.

"Celestia, We can't go downstairs. The stairs are slippery when wet." Said my mom who continues hugging me.

Alexa, the middle child, handed me a black bottle called 'Cursed Lemonade', she then said. Go on, drink it."

"Why is it called cursed?" I questioned tilting my head.

"I don't know, just drink it." She said,

I don't know why but my heart started beating faster as I thought of the word 'cursed' probably because I read too many fairy tales that age. I then shook my head quickly, "N-No, Thank you" I stuttered.

I then heard my sister, Marilyn, laugh as she chugged the 'Cursed Lemonade'. "Your lost! They're good!" She laughed.

I cringed and saw my mom also drinking the lemonade. "Don't worry it's just lemonade, sweetie."

My body started getting colder and I just kept hugging my mom, who was just looking outside the window waiting for my dad who might get hurt at a weather this bad.

The tree branch was knocking on the window and it was like it was gonna break, the wind sounded like a dog begging to live.

I soon hear the lighting hit the ground outside making us scream in unison. Next thing we know, the power was off.

I panicked and cried. "Mom! Mom!" I hugged her tightly as the room turned pitch black. My mom just tried calming me down by whispering and hugging me tighter. My older sisters just hugged each other now scared.

"Shhh! Shh... Calm down girls!" My mom said calmly then asked my sisters. "Where's the flashlight?"

Marilyn patted the area around her then finally found the flashlight. She then gave mom the flashlight while her whole body was shaking.

My mom slowly unwrapped her arms that were around me then got up. "Alexa, come with me. Marilyn, stay with your Celestia."

"W-Why?! Where are you going?" I trembled. "Can I come with you both?"

"No, If me and Alexa got hurt the medical bill is already expensive, so don't come and just stay with Mari." My mom said turning on the flashlight then headed to the door. When Alexa and mom soon left I started sobbing, while hugging Marilyn. Marilyn was hugging me while looking at the window staring at the branch of the tree that was still knocking and hitting the window.

"Stop crying, They will be back soon. The power will come back, don't worry everything will be fine." Marilyn tried comforting me by rubbing the back of my head. I still haven't calmed down. I couldn't stop shaking but I did calm down a bit.

The wind started screaming again, it's been like 17 minutes since they left the room. It usually takes them like 10 minutes. I looked up at my sister with a worried and scared expression on her face, with only that I started to internally panic. She started feeling uncomfortable then got up.
