Y/N's Pov

I run my hands through my hair shaking slightly. I didn't ask for this, I've never hurt anyone, so why do they keep sending people after me? I used to be a demon slayer, up until a year ago when I was turned into a demon. I still carry my sword with me, even though I don't need it. I've been running from demon slayers for the last 2 weeks and it's getting exhausting, I just want to sleep. I hear footsteps and I quickly run into the abandoned house in front of me. I fall to my knees and let the tears I've been holding finally fall. My whole body shakes as I sob into my hands.

They let one demon slide but they can't let another? I've heard all about the demon slayer that carries his demon sister with him! I've never hurt anyone but no one will listen! I just need someone who will listen. "Hello? Is anyone here?" I hear an unfamiliar voice yell and I hide in the darkest corner of the room. I hear footsteps approaching and I slowly stand up, ready to run. "Who the hell are you?"I look to the doorway and see a boy in a boar mask standing there, hands ready to draw his swords. I look around trying to find a way out. "Please don't hurt me"I whimper once I realize he's blocking my only exit. "Why the hell shouldn't I?! You're a demon and Demons can't be trusted!"He exclaims and I flinch back. "Please let me go, I've never hurt anyone and I never will. I swear on everything that I won't so please"I say as tears roll down my face. "W-why should I believe you?"He stutters and I slowly move closer to him.

"I used to be a demon slayer like you, I was turned a year ago by that stupid bastard Muzan. I want the same thing everyone else wants and that's to kill him"I say quietly trying not to let my voice crack. "Is that so? Well what if I do this?!" He exclaims making a small cut on his arm. I just move closer and grab my bandages out. "I'm not like the rest, I have control over my hunger"I whisper as I wrap his arm. I feel him tense under my touch and I look into his boar mask eyes. "I like your mask by the way" I say softly before flashing him a small smile. I can feel my heart beating rapidly in my chest but I'm not sure why, nerves maybe?

"Thanks" he mumbles and I notice a blood stain on his mask. "You have a stain on it, would you like me to clean it for you? There's a river near by"I offer and he just stands there silently. After a minute or two I start to get nervous. "I-I'm sorry forget I as-"I was cut off by him taking his mask off. As soon as I see his face my heart stops, he's beautiful. Why does he hide under this mask? He hands me his mask and just grunts. "Why are you staring at me? Do I got something on my face?"He asks and I feel my face heat up. "N-no, I-I'm sorry I'll go clean this now"I stutter, forcing my eyes away from his face.

"I'm coming with so you don't run away"He says as I start to walk past him. I just nod and continue walking. Once we make it to the river I silently wash his mask while he does weird stretches behind me. As soon as I'm done I set it somewhere to dry before sitting by him. "My name's Y/N, by the way"I say softly and he ignores me. I just sigh and stand back up, ready to walk away. "The names Inosuke, Lord Inosuke to you"He says and I feel myself smile as I turn to look at him. That's when I notice the sun starting to come up. I feel my eyes widen as I start to panic.

"I need to go back to the house! The sun is coming up!"I exclaim and his eyes widen. He quickly grabs his mask, throwing it back on his head, then crouches down in front of me. "Get on! Unless you want to be burnt to a crisp"He grumbles and I quickly get on his back, clinging on tight. He sprints back to the house and we make it in the house just on time. "Thank you Inosuke" I say softly and he turns to look at me. "It's Lord Inosuke!" He exclaims and I giggle. "Thank you 'Lord' Inosuke"I say with a smile making him 'hmph'. "I need to run and grab some things!" He says suddenly getting up. I frown but nod, not expecting to see him ever again. Then he just runs out of the house, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
