Tanya's POV

I stood at the entrance gates of Seirin high. It's been a year of knowing nothing of my past, but one thing always kept me going. One thing that i always remembered even when i woke up and didn't remember anything, and that was basketball. 'Maybe if I speak to the principal i could join the basketball team. Well if they have one i heard they did.'  I thought as i started walking through the crowd of people i saw a very tall red head near a table and threw a cup into the trash not even missing. 'Huh, looks likes he has skills.'  I said to myself. I started to head for the office, but i caught a glimpse of something that made me stop.

Light blue hair, that seems almost familiar to me. I can't remember why, but i feel as though he was part of my past. I tried to find him again, but couldn't so i continued to the office. I was taking out the papers that the doctors have given me saying i was cleared for sports again, but for the next two months i need to watch how hard I practice, for fear of having my body shut down again. I made it to the office and now was waiting for the principal, and let me say this school is really clean. It is the school's second year so it's still pretty clean.

"Are you Tanya?" A man said in front of me. "Yes that's me." I said standing up, and he smiled. "Wonderful come into my office. I'm the principal here we'll discuss in here." He said with a kind voice. As we entered i sat down in front of his desk and he sat in his seat. "Now what is it you wish to discuss dear." He said calmly and i handed him the papers. He grew surprised at my last name, but didn't raise a ruckus, which surprised me. "So you wish to play on the boy's team for basketball?" He asked setting the papers down gently. "Yes. I want to play again its been a year, and I don't remember much, but i believe that if i play it can help me." I said truthfully

"Well you certainly are a Takimoto with that honesty, and truth." He said smiling, and continued. "I see the fire in your eyes my dear, and i will allow it. But as the doctors said to be careful for these two months just to make sure everything is okay. I will tell the board about you and if any other school asks well the coaches should be smart enough to figure out who you are by the way you play." He finished and I couldn't be happier that i get to play again. "Thank you sir." I said and started to leave. "Oh and one more thing child, I am willing to let you wear pants instead of skirts i knew of your family, and knew that most of the females in your family never wore skirts." He said as he smiled and waved his hand as if to shoo me out.

"Now go and live your high school life young lady. You've had a rough year now make it worth while." Was the last thing i heard before leaving and getting to my classes. Classes were long, but bearable, and now i was running to the gym hoping I'm not late. The principal kept to the promise he spoke about in the email about having all the teachers not say my last name so i could at least have a normal high school. As i got in the gym i heard a girl yell to the boys "now that we got that settled. Lose the shirts!" I stopped dead in my tracks trying hard not to laugh at the reactions from the guys. Until one, the light blue haired boy he scared the girl badly. I took that as my chance to head over to all of them.

"Wait your from Teiko?" The guy with glasses asked almost shocked. "Teiko? You mean that school that's known for the so called generations of miracles?" I asked, and i did not expect all of them to jump in fear apparently they didn't see me? "Where did you come from." The girl asked and i responded. "I came from my classes and plus i wish to join too." I said giving the girl my request paper. She looked at the paper then to me and said, "your actually wanting to play on an all boys team? And the principal is ok with it?!"

I looked up to her. "Wait the principal is ok with it?!" The guy with the glasses said, and i nodded my head. I then caught the look of the boy with the blue hair, and something in my head started to stir. He looked at me as if he'd seen a ghost, but the weird part is what happened next. "Tanya? Is that really you?" He said and something in my memory started to stir it got bad. I gripped my head groaning in pain.

Memory flashback*

"Come on Kuroko if  you want i can help you train to get your misdirection better." I said to the light blue haired boy  who softly smiled  and nodded his head and eagerly went to get the ball. I shook my head. "Kuro your something else i know it and soon enough all of japan.

*back to present*

I groaned in pain, but stood up straighter and saw the worried faces, but all i could focus on was. "Kuro?" I said almost in disbelief that i remembered him. He smiled and I couldn't be happier. Later as the practice ended and we all leave. I walked close to a basketball court to see kuro and that tall red head. Kuro was failing horribly to even make it past the guy. "Normal kuroko. Never changes." I said smiling continuing to watch the two, till the other guy left and it was just me and kuroko. "Tanya? You've been watching?" He said and i smiled knowing that he hasn't changed. I smiled and looked at him, and what i said next made him smile like nothing I've ever seen before. "I remember you kuroko, and i can play again."

As we walked home he kept asking me all these questions about what happened to me. I told him all i could remember. "So that's the story, Kuro. The only the i remember when i woke up was basketball and the last voice that called my name when i blacked out. Now that I think about it, looking back that voice was yours wasn't it." I said glancing at him. His reaction was priceless, he looked embarrassed yet so unknowing of what to do I couldn't help but laugh. "Haha Kuroko it's ok i understand-" i turn quickly to face him. "Thank you for worrying about me." I finish. "Of course Tanya. I'm glad your doing better, and i promise I'll help you get your memories back." He said with such determination I couldn't help but hug him. "Thank you Kuro. This means more to me than you could ever know.

And just like that high school started with already memories coming back to me.
