It is not affiliated with "nymphet" communities, the aesthetic stemmed from there, coquette is a subculture that doesn't romanticize lolita or p3dos.
Coquette is anti-kink and a safe space for young people. It's not affiliated with ed or waif communities either.
The definition of "coquette" is a lighthearted flirty woman. The word has been around since at least the 1920s!
But not just women can like or be coquettes! Guys can be interested in the aesthetic too, there's even a branch called "faunlet" for men.
The colour pink, vintage style, beauty, and charisma are all central to the style!
There is no correct way to be coquette, it can be influenced by your own style
