After Hay and Klaus arrive home Elijah realizes that something has happened and rushes towards them.

E: Is everything okay?

H: No, I almost died today if it wasn't Klaus, a man I don't know had a white oak stake and he was going to kill me but Klaus saved me and took the stake too

E: You don't know who he was? What problems did he have with you?

H: Don't you understand that I don't know him?

E: Klaus, I'm glad you were there

K: Me too, sister, if you want I'll leave you safe

H: No, please, I wouldn't be here now if it weren't for you, I want to talk just the two of us

E: Then I'll I'll let you discuss

K: Thanks Elijah!

H: Look..Klaus, you know that there is something between me and Elijah but I want to tell you that I always had feelings for you too, and I always loved you but I didn't want to tell you because I thought it wasn't mutual but today I felt the need to say it, especially after what happened

K: Hay..I have also had feelings for you for some time and I want to confess to you that I was jealous when I saw you with my brother, but you should know that what  happened today was specially prepared by me to save you to win your love and I'm sorry that I ended up doing this but I really love you.. if you won't be able to forgive me I want you to at least know what I feel for you ..

Klaus thought that Hay would start yelling at him and not accept what he did but instead the two kissed and  lived together taking care of Hope and being the best parents. And about Elijah, he found a new girlfriend named Gia who was also a vampire and they all lived in a happy family
