Klaus. He was the cause of all of my pain. I loved him so much it hurt...I knew he loved me too but was too scared to tell me to my face. He was a softy at heart. As I was in deep thought about him I suddenly came back to reality and realised what was going on. He scanned my face then removed his hand from my mouth.
"What are you doing here?" he asked looking confused.
"Nothing. Now leave me alone."
"Watch your tone with me Lavender."
"You don't tell me what to do"
I summoned all of my vamp strength trying to get out of his grasp but it was no use. Klaus was an immovable force.
"What are you here for?"
"I need somewhere to stay ok?!" He looked at me again squinted, paused and said "If you need a place to stay you could just ask me." he raised his eyebrows.
"Never." I said as bluntly as possible trying to conceal my true pleasure at his offer. I was happy that he cared.
"Why?" He let go wanting a genuine answer.
"You know what klaus I don't have to answer to you!"
"I gave you this life, I turned you and this is how you choose to repay me, with insults when I try to be kind!"
"After what you did to me kindness won't cut it."
I vamp sped away from him with tears in my eyes remembering all the things it took me so long to forget.
I looked up, I was at the door. I had to muster up all my strength just to knock and just as I was about to do so I saw the back of Damon's head, he was talking to somebody inside
"Shutup Stefan." He turned to the front and as soon as his eyes locked with mine his mouth dropped open. "Stefan you need to come here." As Stefan approached the door I said the only thing I could think of
"Hello brothers, I'm home."
