Why is she
Staring at me
Like that?
I look back
And wave slightly.
That's when I see you
Walk up to her
And kiss her,
And tell her
You miss her.
She smiles again
And winks at me.
My smile fades
And I walk away.
No emotion raids
My face.
My day drags on
With her on my mind.
Why would she
Do that to me?
My best friend
I should have
Paid attention
When she was
All alone.
He wouldn't answer.
I wait till I'm
Home.
That's when it
Starts.
The tears pour down
As I see I'm
Locked out.
No one's home.
Kicking the
Door makes
No difference.
Back against the
Wood,
Sitting on the
Ground,
I cry.
The next day I'm
Woken to
Screaming.
I'm late.
Days pass as
Grades fall and
No one notices
Me.
Longingly
You're there
And I want to
Kiss you
And tell you
I miss you.
But no.
You've broken me.
Now I'm going to
Break you.
Break you for
What you both
Did.
Break you...
For my broken
Heart.
