Wish on the moonlight

Lonely souls and their washed out feelings

Lonely stars looking down with pitiful eyes,
Shaped as perfectly as the heart denied it's might

Waking up to find it gone like the warmth of a deceased lover

One day at a time dear sir, it was never a race nor a fight

One day it might all disappear like the holes on our fathers coat

Mother was always there so know that you can take rest

The night would always come and the moon with it as a sign

Why would we have to worry when we had it's bright light?

Why would we have to close our eyes when we could wish on the moonlight?
