Chapter 4:

Ashly Pov: 14 points 6 assists And 4 rebounds I was hot that championship game at our last tournament , I wasn't surprised I did good but I was. I didn't grow up like everyone else playing organized basketball such as city league or YMCA, I grew up around a lot of boys who played pickup games in my front yard the way I thought everyone did. It would be just me my home boys my uncle Suavè and a couple of other kids who was just completely sorry they really didn't matter we just needed them to even out the teams.

Anyways I mean I grew up around boys , every time my mom would be in the kitchen and my dad would be in the room playing games with "the boys" I just invited myself in there and blended in, it was never a thought to myself I wanted to like girls because it was a "trend " it was just how I felt , I never dressed like a girl, I just dressed how I felt. Besides wearing dresses and skirts and rompers I dressed normal skinny jeans, griffeys , and a Aeropostale shirt . Don't judge this was damn near 5 .. 6 years ago.
I mean what I've grown into you'd never even think of how I got here . I love myself I love how I dress I love every bit of me sounds kind of gay but I mean I am so it really doesn't matter.

Our next tournament was in Panama City Memorial Day weekend where everyone and they momma went to the beach . Our first game we played the orange team who had a point guard at about 5"9 and everyone else was short and couldn't handle the ball so we blew them out , plus our big men Amber and Jas was too good for those girls. When we went back to the room I noticed Amber like to isolate herself she would sit down somewhere and stay there, not say a word to anyone she was a quiet person to me so I decided to go and talk to her , she was actually cool af . After that I just knew we was gone be friends , every time I seen her she seemed to light up to me I don't know if it was me or if the sun was shining a little too bright but she lit up... Feeling that way about her made me question a lot of things. She's told me constantly that she doesn't like females so I mean what can I do, there is nothing I can do except turn her out😏. Waitttt oh shit I got a girlfriend..
