New One Shot Story I'm not sure how many one shots I'll be doing but at the end I'll go back and see which one I should turn into a story enjoy! This idea came to my mind today.

It was 2:45 in the afternoon on a Wednesday and Candace was in her dorm room laying down on her bed staring at her celling. She was  19 years old and in her second year of college majoring in law. She sighed heavily trying to fight back her tears that threatened to appear. Her period was late 2 weeks and 3 days to be exact. She was trying not to freak out over it but she had never been late on her period. Her and Jeremy had been together a little over 5 years and even though they talked about having kids one day it wasn't supposed to happen while they were both still in college. Even though she hadn't had any other symptoms besides her period being late she couldn't help but not think she was pregnant her and Jeremy had been sexually active a week after she had turned 15 and they had always been careful he always used protection and she had gotten on the pill when they began getting more serious.

So how could she possibly be pregnant if they had taken precautions? She groaned into her pillow she tried to avoid Jeremy these last two weeks but he was making it impossible "curse his wonderful boyfriend qualities" she thought to herself when she first figured out she was late she had told Jeremy she was sick and wasn't in the mood to go anywhere or see anyone but being the good boyfriend that he is he had brought her soup and medicine. And even offered to take care of her. And even though she wasn't sick she had to pretend she wasn't feeling well. But she knew she couldn't hide it forever and she would have to come clean at some point. And she knew she going to have tell him in the next day or so since he was starting to get suspicious of her behavior.

She looked at her phone and saw it showed 3:45 pm which means Jeremy was going to be out of class in 15 minutes "we'll might as well get this over with" she said to herself. She was glad she didn't have any classes scheduled for today since it gave her time to gather her thoughts on how she was going to tell Jeremy that she's most likely pregnant. She got dressed in some skinny jeans and gray long sleeve shirt and left her hair down. After she was dressed she took out her phone.

Candace: Hey can we meet in your room? After you get out of class I have something important I need to tell you

About 15 minutes later when he got out of class he replied to her.

Jeremy: Sure everything okay?

She was going to text him back but decided she would just wait to tell him in person. She grabbed her cellphone and keys and headed out her door and to his room. His dorm room was in another building where all the guys stayed at and her building was obviously for only females but that doesn't mean they hadn't spend the night at each other's rooms many times. It only took her 10 minutes to walk over to his room. When she got there she let herself in since she had a copy as did he to hers. Once she was in his room she went laid  down on his bed and closed her eyes. She  waited 15 minutes when she heard his keys unlocking the door and she sat up.

"Hey babe" he said leaning in giving her a peck on the lips. "Hey how was classes today?" He shrugged laying down next to her. "Eh you know the usual boring and and a ton of studying." He said and she nodded they remained silent for a few minutes and Jeremy began rubbing his hand up and down her back. "Everything okay? You said you wanted to tell me something?" He said looking at her with concern. She took in a deep breath and turned to look at him. "We'll I'm not exactly sure how to tell you this..." she said bitting her lip "I think.. I'm pregnant." She said and Jeremy's eyes went wide and he instantly sat up on the bed.

"Um... are you... are you sure your one hundred percent pregnant?" He asked clearing his throat afterwards. "I mean I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet but I am late on my period." "How late?" "2 weeks and 3 days." She said. He sighed while running his hand through his hair. "Okay well we should get a pregnancy test to make sure... wait I thought you were on the pill." He said asked her. "I am" she stopped talking for a second and then put her hands to her head. "Oh shit" she said. "What?" "I completely forgot I had changed
My birth control like a month ago or less." She said. "But you used protection every time though right?" She asked Jeremy began scraping the back of his neck. "Um... no we've done it occasionally without a condom but I didn't think it was a big deal since you're on the pill." He said.

She groaned laying back down on the bed while covering her eyes. "Uh this can't be happening" she said. Jeremy rolled his eyes and laid back down next her and pulled her towards his body. "Hey who knows maybe you're not listen there's a drug store down by the lobby I'll go grab a pregnancy test and then we can see what the results are" he said kissing the top of her head. "Alright" she said and he got off the bed and grabbed his wallet. "I'll be back in a few minutes" he said and she nodded continuing to lay down on his bed. As soon as he closed the door behind him he leaned against the door sighed.

He was freaking out but he was trying to keep himself calm for her sake. He knew she was already freaking out and if he showed any signs of panic it would just make her freak out even more and he didn't need her having a meltdown she hadn't had one of those since she started college and gave up busting her brothers. It took him exactly 5 minutes to get back to his room with the pregnancy test. When he walked in he noticed her laying in the same position. "I'm back" he said and she groaned getting up. "Alright let's get this over with." She said taking the pregnancy test from his hand and went into the restroom. He sighed and sat down on his bed. About a minute later she came out. "It's calculating the results" she said leaning against the wall.

About 5 minutes later she walked back into the restroom and then turned around immediately. "I can't look at it can you just look at it and tell me." She said covering her eyes. "Of course" he said smiling at her. His heart has beating out of his chest and he was completely freaking out in the inside he took in a deep breath and looked at the test and noticed it showed positive. "Uh candace?" "Yeah?" She asked on the other side of the wall. "It's positive" he said and he heard her gasp. "Oh no!... Jeremy what are we going to do?" She asked in a panicked tone.

"Candace calm down" he said putting his hands on her shoulders. "Calm down?! Calm down?" She said even more freaked out. "Yeah that was a bad choice of words" he thought to himself as he heard her panic even more. "Okay listen it's okay so your pregnant we'll figure it out." He said causing her to take in a deep breath and relax a little bit. "Just breath" "okay... we're not going to break up then right?" She asked biting her lip. Jeremy raised his eyebrows at what she just asked?" "Candace what are you talking about? Why would you even ask that?" He asked in a concerned and hurt tone. She shrugged looking down at the floor. "I don't know? I guess I thought you'd get freaked out and leave." She said as her voice cracked.

Jeremy pulled her into a tight hug and kissed the top of her head. "Candace I love you you do know that right? She nodded her head "you know there's nothing that you could do or say that would make me want to leave you or love you any less... we've been together for over 5 years now  I think we've gotten past that stage." He said slightly chuckling. She sighed they really have been through a lot together and he was always there keeping calm. She smiled looking up at him. "I love you Jeremy Johnson." She said pressing her lips against his instantly. He kissed her back with the same passion and a minute later they pulled away.

"So what are we going to do about this then?" She said going and seating on his bed again. He sighed going and seating next to her. "Well we obviously can't raise a kid in our door rooms so we'll rent a small apartment together." He said and candace went wide eyed she always dreamed of moving in with him but she always expected to do that after they got married not cause she got knocked up. "What?" He asked "nothing I just didn't think we would move in together while still being in college" he smirked "yeah well we also didn't plan on having a baby while in college yet here we are." He said. "So were doing this then?" She said scooting closer to him and he laid back down on his bed and she followed laying down next to him.

"Yes we are we can tell our families in a few days and we can start apartment hunting tomorrow." He said and she smiled snuggling up to him. "Your amazing you know that" she said and he chuckled lifting her chin up to look at him and then gently kissed her lips. After a while of kissing. He laid his hand on her stomach "I can't wait to meet you on by the way if it's a boy I think we should call him Fred" Jeremy said smirking and she scoffed. "Yeah right I've had my baby names planned out since the day I can remember it's going to be Xavier if it's a boy and Amanda if it's a girl." Jeremy rolled his eyes and they kept going back and forth on the baby names.
