Ignorance Is Not Bliss

Pandit- ha.

Kk- Mujhe toh kal bhi chalegi but kyunki sabka dekhna hai hum sab baat karke aapko thode dino mein batate hai

Kd- Ha 1 week mein aapko hum final date bata denge. Thank you panditji.

Kk gave him his fee n the pandit left.

They were all discussing the dates.
But tejus eyes were only on kk. She didnt say a word.

Km- Chalo sabko call karke puchte hai dates.

Tm- ha mai bhi pratik ko call karti hun

Kd- Arrey itni Jaldi se venue bookings ho paayegi??

Kk- Papa mujhe toh jaipur mein fort mein karni hai. Maine sochke bhi rakha hai sab. Aap venue ki tension mat lo.

Kd- But agar jaipur mein karenge toh sabko waha stay karama hoga. Itne hitel reservations itni jaldi..??

Kk- main aur omi kal se hi sab research karte hai..

Tm- Ha beta kal se hi dekhlo.

Td- Hum sab milke karte hai help. Jaise aap dono ko thik lage.

Kk- Ha uncle aap tension matlo. Event management company se directly karayenge.

The discussion went on till late night.
Everyone was super excited about all this.  They discussed clothes venue jwellery travel plans.
But teju was quiet. She wondered why no one even asked her what she wanted.

Jess- Omi teju itni chup kyu hai? Woh kuch bhi nahi bol rahi.

Omi-?Ha maine bhi notice kiya.

Jess went n sat with teju

Jess- Teju kya soch rahi hai? Itni chup??

Teju- Nothing. Just that sab kitne excited hai. Kitne plans bana rahe hai.

Jess- Woh sab thik hai. But what do u want? Tujhe kaisi shaadi chahiye?

Teju- Simple.

Jess- But...

Teju- I know. But i have never seen sunny so excited. He has visualised each n every detail n i want it to happen exactly like that.

Jess- Why dont u both discuss it first.

Teju- We have had small discussions n he has always told me that he wants a typical punjabi wedding n honestly even i want that. Vibe hi alag hoti hai.

Jess- Woh toh hai. Punjabi weddings are the best.

Finally by 2am tejus family decided to go home. While leaving teju was waiting at the door for karan. He walked towards her n just waved bye.

Kk knew omi n jess were staring n keep a tight watch on his actions

Teju- Goodnight sunny.
She leaned in n hugged him but he didnt reciprocate it.

Teju looked at him n saw him looking at omi n jess.

Teju- Kya hua sunny
She asked in baby voice.

Kk heard her n just wanted to hug her tight n kiss her but he didnt.

Kk- Nothing. Just tired laddoo. Will sleep now.

Teju-Ok goodnight.

Teju went home with weird thoughts

Tejus thoughts-
Why didnt he hug me back. He didnt even kiss me once during dinner. Is he not ok about something? Maybe i should talk to him or maybe m just overthinking n he is just tired.

Omi n jess left soon n kk crashed soon as well.

Next day kk had a brand shoot from home with teju. It was for a couples watch set.
