Today I looked in mirrors three
And saw a woman staring back at me.
A woman I once knew before;
Away she'd gone but was back once more.
She had a smile to light a room
Eyes that sparkled in the gloom.
A heart she wore upon her sleeve
And a body that was built to please.
I'd known her once before this life
Made her a mother and a wife
A life that had erased the spark
And crushed the light, made it dark.
You found within, where others fear,
You looked you dreamed and you held dear
The woman I can't help but see
The woman staring back at me.
