Chapter 16

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I turned on my side about to go to sleep again until I felt someone moving on my side

I opened my eyes and it was Stu. I looked over and billy was on the other side of me. I laid back down prepared to go to sleep until I realized what happened last night

I opened the blanket and looked down
"shit" I put my face in my hands and slid my fingers through my hair

I looked around and walked to the closet. I found one of Stu's shirts and put it on. I walked to the bathroom downstairs to take a shower until I heard someone

"Hey baby!" Stu said from behind me. I jumped startled
"Jesus Stu you scared me" I turned and faced him. He had a smile on his face and a little bit of a blush

"What?" I cocked my head to the side
"You're wearing my shirt" I looked down at the shirt
"Oh yeah, hope you don't mind. I grabbed it fro-" he cut me off
"No, no. You look good" he said smiling sweetly

"Hey I'm gonna take a shower, I'll be out soon and I should have your shirt back in the closet after" I said smiling at him

Yes I love him and yes I love Billy but Stu has a girlfriend and the whole thing that happened last night might've ruined the friendship. I know from the last time this type of thing happened 3 years ago

"Hey Brady!" I said happily walking to my locker. Me and Brady were best friends for like a year now. We met when we were paired up for a history project and while we researched the project we told each other about the things we like and the things we hate

"Hey y/n" he leaned on his locker which was two over from mine
"Hey where's cherry at?" Cherry is our other friend in our group. She has a major crush on Brady and I try to bring/talk her up to him

"I don't know but do you want to come over this weekend and watch a few movies?" He asked with a smile on his face

"Sure but can cherry come too?" I asked. He looked disappointed
"Eh sorry but my mom said I'm only allowed to have one person over this weekend and she likes you" I nodded
"Alright" the bell rung

"We'll see you in geography" I waved and left

Heading to my next class I saw cherry. I waved her over once she saw me
"Hey, so Brady asked me over this weekend. Is there anything special or detailed you want me to tell him about you?" I asked her. She frowned and looked down

"Y/n you don't have to do this anymore" I looked at her confused
"What? Why? I thought you liked him and wanted me to talk you up" she looked up with tears in her eyes
"He likes you idiot!" She was angry and hurt

"Cherry it's not like that" I said almost laughing
"No, it is like that. You're just too dumb to see it! God! Why did I even become friends with you!" I was heartbroken. Aside from Brady, cherry was my best friend

She pushed me against the lockers and left. The week went by with cherry bullying me with her little friends, Brady saying to just ignore them, and school work just stressing me out

Finally, it got to Friday. I walked to Brady's house with him and talked about the dance coming up until we got there

"Ok so what color are you wearing?" He asked
"I'm thinking black but it has a small slit on the leg part and you can see the shoulders"

This is the dress I was going to wear

"So what do you think?" I looked over at him
"I love it!" I smiled and when we got to his house we went to his room and put on a couple of movies

"Hey so why did cherry start hating you out of nowhere" he asked eating some blueberries
"It's actually really funny. She likes you and when she heard you invited me over this weekend she thought it was because you have a thing for me" I said laughing

I looked over at him and he was already looking at me

"What?" He looked serious and it scared me
"Well how about you go to the dance with me and we show off in front of her?" I smiled
"Hell yeah. She been a total bitch to me all week" I cheered and all throughout the rest of the weekend we watched movies, talked, and even went to the park that was nearby. Something was weird because I kept waking up with purple and red bruise type of things on my neck

Now it's the day of the dance. I put on my dress, put on some hoop earrings, and my black heels. I waited until Brady came and we drove to the dance

He kept looking at me from time to time kn the way there. Once we got there he held my waist, I looked at him confused

"We're showing off for cherry" he said. I nodded and smiled

We got on the dance floor and it was pact with people. Me and Brady danced weirdly on purpose and laughed. After that song came a slow song. He got closer and held my lower back

"Hey Brady, I know we're showing off because of cherry but that's a bit close don't you think?" I said nervously. He looked down on me and smiled, it was a creepy one

"Live a little y/n. We're fine and we're not even that close" he said. You couldn't put a grain of sand between us at this point
"Yes we are now can you back off a little?" I tried pushing him back but he grabbed my wrists

"Back the hell off of me Brady!. BACK OFF!" I yelled. That caught everyone's attention and the music stopped

"Hey are you alright?" A guy I know as Daniel asked me
"Yeah we're fine" Brady said looking at Daniel like he wanted to kill him. He was squeezing my wrists so hard that it was definitely bruising

"Brady stop! You're hurting me" I tried tugging my wrists away but he wasn't going to let that happen
"I asked her, not you. Now let her go now!" Daniel spoke up
"And if I don't? What the hell are you gonna do?" Brady asked in a menacing voice
"This!"

Daniel ran towards Brady and punched him in his face. Brady let go of me and fell to the ground. I rubbed my wrists and checked them, yep they were definitely bruising

I looked back and Daniel and Brady are having it out until some teachers finally decide to step in. The day after that I started to become friends with Daniel and overtime developed a crush

"You can keep it if you want" Stu said smiling like a child. I looked at him with a small smile
"I'll keep it for a bit then I'll give it back" I turned and walked away to the bathroom

sorry this chapter took forever. it was gonna be smut again but I didn't want too much of it in the story already
