Yea she was a horrible mother but she was the only mom I had. I laid down next to Bleu and cuddled with her. She held me with her arm around my neck while as she held me close.
Ki'moura came in.
"Ima go home and grab some more clothes to come back .. you gon be okay?" She asked. "I'm good .." I said as I was dozing off.
She left.
1 hour later ... 10:42 AM.
I heard a knock on the door. I didn't wanna get up. The person knocked again. I rolled my eyes and got up to go downstairs. I opened the door to see my dad.

"WHERE MY DAUGHTER AT?!" He said as he barged in. "YO DAUGHTER?! WE FOUND YOUR "DAUGHTER" IN MOMMY HOUSE , BOTTLED UP IN A CORNER!" I yelled back. "MAN WHAT THE FUCK GOING ON DOWN HERE?!" Demony yelled. "AFTER YEARS OF NOT BEING AROUND FOR US , NOW HE WANNA PLAY DADDY TO BLEU!" I yelled.
"I just want my daughter .." My dad said. "Well you can bounce , cause you ain't getting your daughter back no time soon." Demony said. "DEMONY GIMME MY DAMN CHILD!" My dad snapped.
Demony reached to the back of his pants to grab his gun but it wasn't there. Soon as he realized it wasn't there , Bleu came running down the stairs holding it.
"Tae look what I found!" Bleu said with a smile on her face. "Oh shit .." Demony said as he put his hands on his head. "Bleu .. put the gun on the floor." I said with shakyness in my voice.
Instead of putting it on the ground , she aimed it at our dad.
"Bleu .. DO NOT press that button that you got your finger on!" Demony yelled.
She pulled it. *BOOM* My father fell backwards. The blowback from the gun made Bleu fly backwards too. I ran to my dad. Demony ran to Bleu.
Bleu had hit her head on the steps. My dad had a bullet wound in his neck. He let out his last breath and his eyes stayed open. I put my head on his chest and sobbed. Both parents dead in one day .. how does this shit happen?
I sat up and looked at bleu and Demony. Bleu was unconscious and there was a small bit of blood on the steps. I got up from my dads chest and ran to Bleu.
I grabbed her from Demonys arms and put her in mines. There was a knock on the door. Demony got up and looked out the peep hole.
"Manee fuck do this nigga want?!" Demony yelled. "Who?!" I asked. "Yo nigga!" He yelled as he thru open the door.
Clay walked in with a teddy bear and bouquet of roses. His smile soon faded when he seen my dad laid out and Bleu in my arms.
"What the fuck happened?!" He asked. "Nigga stop asking so many questions and just help!" Demony yelled as he grabbed a garbage bag out the kitchen.
Clay walked over to me and gave me the bear and roses.
"The bear is for the lil girl , the roses is for you." Clay said as he kissed my forehead.
Demony passed him some gloves and they started picking up my dads body. They pushed everything in the bag but his head when so stopped them.
"NO! That's my daddy .. Demony that my daddy..!" I yelled. "THIS NIGGA GOTTA GET OUT THIS HOUSE WEATHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT! EITHER GET YO ASS UP AND HELP US , OR TAKE BLEU UPSTAIRS AND SHUT THE FUCK UP!" "At least let me say goodbye .." I cried.
He sighed and and motioned me to come. I laid Bleu on the stairs and walked over to my daddy. I kneeled down and kissed my daddy's forehead.
"Daddy .. I know that we never had the best relationship but um .. I love you and .. I hope you get to wherever you going safely. Daddy i'm sorry .. i'm sorry that I never got the chance to apologize for being such a horrible son. Not reaching out .. not- not coming to see you when you asked .. I- I just .." I started sobbing.
Demony sighed and grabbed me. He hugged me.
"Listen , baby i'm sorry for your lost. I truly am but we gotta get his ass out this house before niggas start looking for his ass." Clay said. "I can't believe i'm bout to say this but um he right lil bro .. we gotta let him go. We got too .. he gone. Gone and take Bleu upstairs and wake her up while me and Clay handle this aight?" Demony said to me. "Okay .." I said.
I backed up from my dads body and went to pick up Bleu. I grabbed the roses and the bear and walked upstairs. I laid on the bed with Bleu in my arms. I rocked her back nd fourth. I thought of the song my mother used to sing to me and Demony when we were lil.
"Last night I prayed on a fallen star , That you never have a broken heart Though the world is cold, just remember who you are And I pray that you never have a rainy day And no matter what people say Even when it hurts it'll be okay .." I sang as my voice cracked.
I heard Clay and Demony talking outside my window.
"Man listen .. I know me and you been so much shit with each other but um .. let's dead this shit .. for the sake of Taven aight?" Demony said. "I'm all for that .." Clay agreed. "And i've been meaning to ask you something .." Demony said. "Wassup?" Clay asked. "You really love him?" " .. Actually, yea. I can finally say it .. I love Tae."
