Chapter One

After that scene with Happy. I walked to Master's office. Yes. What you're thinking is what I'm gonna do exactly. I'm leaving the guild for now. I can't stay here anymore. Knowing that every people hate me.

I stopped in front of Master's office then knocked. After seconds. I heard him say, "Come in."

I wiped away my remainig tears first then turned the door knob. I found Master doing some paperworks with his eyeglasses on.

"Do you need something, Lucy?"

He said and stopped doing what he's doing. He looked at me. "Did you cry?"

I sighed then nodded. I sat at the chair in front of him then inhaled before speaking.

"I'm leaving the guild, Master."

He widened his eyes and looked at me in disbelief.

"What happened?"

He asked. Which made my tears roll down to my cheeks again. I looked down then started telling what happened, "N-Natsu kicked me off the team. Lissana's gonna be in my place. H-He called me weak and said that I'm not s-strong enough to be in the t-team."

Master was just silent. So I lifted up my head and looked at him to find his aura so dark.

"THAT BRAT!"

He then shouted then ran off. But I caught his shoulder quickly, making him stop running.

"LET ME TEACH HIM SOME LESSON, LUCY!"

He said while trying to get out of my grasp. I shook my head and said, "Don't. Let him be, Master. He'll realize that soon enough."

He stopped and sighed. I let go of him as he went back to his seat.

I gave him my hand. "Are you sure, Lucy?" I nodded at his question as he placed his hand over mine and my insignia disappeared.

"Thanks, Master."

I hugged him then he hugged back.

"Happy 18th Birthday, Lucy." I tightened my hug at hin then started crying. Master remembered.

He pulled away from the hug. I wiped my tears away and he gave me a white box. I looked at him confused.

"It's from your mom. We were good friends back in the day."

I widened my eyes.

Mom knew Master??

I got the back from Master then opened it. There's a necklace with a pendant key on it. I noticed a paper and opened it.

Happy 18th Birthday, My Princess. I love you.

And again, I cried. How many times did I cry today? I can't count anymore.

I hugged Master once again. "Thanks again, Master. I need to go now." He nodded. He was crying as well.

I pulled away and walked out of his office.

Good thing that the guild was in chaos so they didn't notice me going home early.

I still didn't want to go home yet so I took a break to sit at the park. My back was relaxed against a tree. I closed my eyes and felt the wind.

After minutes, I heard silent footsteps towards me. I quickly went to my fighting position. I snatched my Fleuve d'étoiles. Who knows what this person will do.

I don't know but my senses is telling me that it might be danger.

I noticed it was behind the three. So I jumped over that person and was about to attack the person but I stopped when he shouted.

"WOAH! WOAH! MISS!"
