You watch in horror as Wanda collapses the building to close the Darkhold. As time moves on, America is now staying with you and then one day you created an illusion of Wanda... or so you thought.

Requested by ARMY__MooMoo___ (I changed your request slightly, hope that's okay).

"I have to close the Darkhold." Wanda says to Dr Strange in his zombie form before looking directly to me. "There has to be another way than being sandwiched as the building collapses." I say trying to get her to change her mind. Unlike most, I knew that the only reason she did the awful stuff she did was partly to retrieve her twins but also because she read to far in the Darkhold. I remember her telling me that if anyone reads too far, they will go mad and basically turned into a blood lusted monster. That's exactly what happened to Wanda. "If I don't close it, someone else will be tempted." She's right. But why does she have to kill herself in the process? Couldn't she teleport away from it once it's closed?

Wong has to hug me from behind to stop me running towards her. It's all too much knowing I'm about to lose the one person I still care about. He drags me through the portal to somewhere we would be safe. She's honestly too stubborn for her own good sometimes. I didn't take much notice of where Wong had taken me through America's portal. All I knew is that she was gone for real this time and not because of the blip. What do I do now that she's gone? I think to myself. Maybe I ought to go back to the cabin. I know Wanda used it as a place to hideout and make it look like a real farming place but since all I have now is time, I could really make it into what she originally tried to say it was.

Time Skip

A few months pass and the place is looking great. Everything is green and lush, the difference is, this time it's for real and not an illusion. I even offered America to stay with me since she doesn't have a specific universe that she's tied down too. Saves us both being alone I guess, not to mention she likes to help around the place as well. I'll be honest though, ever since her demise, I haven't really spoken much. Not unless America needs something. As talkative as she is, she's not too bothered I don't talk much. She just likes to ramble on with herself which is fair enough.

Anyway, me and America had picked a load of apples and placed them in two baskets. We both carried one each back to the cabin to get them rinsed and cleaned. Picking the apples kind of reminds me of when Wanda was snapping the twigs off the apple trees from her illusion right before Dr Strange showed up to ask her for help with the multiverse.

America headed into the cabin and I was about to when I felt another presence. At least I thought I did. It was only there for a brief second. At first I thought I had imagined it. America came back out after putting the basket of apples on the kitchen side but her face immediately drains of colour, as though she was afraid of something that might hurt her.... correction, someone. It can't be though. She's dead. I witnessed her death and cried before she closed that book of the damned.

"Y/n." Now I'm hearing her voice. I want to turn around to see if she's really there but I'm afraid she'd just be an illusion. "Y/n?" Her voice now plastered with concern. "You're not real. You're dead." Is the only thing I can say. I turn around and low and behold, there she is. I still think she's an illusion. There's only one way to find out if she is in fact really here. So, I reach out and place my hand on her cheek. Had it been an illusion I had created, they tend to fade away with one touch. She did not fade away which meant that this time she really is here! But how? And what of America?

"It took a while as there were... obstacles in my path that stopped me from teleporting away from the tower after I closed the Darkhold. But that book is closed and stored somewhere not even me can find it so no one will ever be tempted by it again. I should have listened to you and not have kept reading the damn book. As for the girl, I'm no longer interested in trying to steal her powers to cross the multiverse." Her accent isn't as thick as it was when she went on her murdering rampage. Her accent's thickness depends on how upset or angry she is and right now, she sounds like she's back to normal.

Wanda hugs me before placing her lips gently against my own. I think it's safe to say she is for sure back to her old self. Now that I have Wanda back maybe it's time to introduce her to America properly as Wanda and not the Scarlet Witch. And I know she's reading my mind as her facial expression turns into one of uncertainty. She's knows what she attempted to do to her which is why she's uncertain of me introducing her but I pay no attention to that and bring her over to America who is understandably on edge about her. She even has her powers at the ready just in case.

"There'll be no need for that America." I begin telling her. "She's back to being her normal self instead of being possessed I guess you call it? Anyway, I want you to get to know her as Wanda not the Scarlet Witch." The two smile awkwardly at each other and shake hands which I thought was a bit formal but baby steps I suppose. While I know Wanda's reading my mind still, I send her a message in my mind saying, "I know you couldn't get Billy and Tommy but maybe we can create a new family for real with America?" She stares at me and I am not sure how she'll react but she smiles which means she agrees. This will hopefully be the first step towards our happy ending.

Ending this one here. What did you all think? Let me know. Updates are going to be slow tomorrow as I'm working an eight hour shift but will do what I can. Anyways, requests STILL OPEN! Don't forget to VOTE! :)
