The Prolog

Jeffery: "okay Rosa, thanks for the help!"

Rosa: "no problem, God I'm so really to munch down on a donut."

She says walking to the left, assuming that's where sector F is.

Then you're put onto a rolling bed, strapped to it with some metal rope.

Jeffery: "do you remember where our lab is?"

He says scanning something into the door making it open.

Gabriel: "I think I do, room 12."

Jeffery: "man, right next to the cannibal training?"

He says while pulling the bed in through the doors.

Gabriel: "it was the closest free lab available, plus the other free one is 20 rooms down."

Jeffery: "I think that room is next to the crackbaby study, but it's better than the cannibal training!"

Gabriel: "whatever, atleast it's a quick walk."

Jeffery: "but the screaming! I swear that place has more liability issues than sector Q!"

Gabriel: "isn't that sector the goose & duck petting zone?"

Jeffery: "I don't like duck! Or goose! They're threats to society!"

Gabriel: "don't tell me you have Anatidaephobia, fear of ducks."

Jeffery: "no they're threatening animals!"

Gabriel: "most of our sectors is in love with ducks, a few other sectors like geese."

Just when you was about to space out.

Jeffery: "whatever, we're at room 12."

You didn't realize that you were ready to be tested on.

You were brought into the room, which looked more of the same, endless white flooring below clean white walls.

Gabriel: "I'll start running test #1 out of 20."

He says, walking towards the laptop to write down any interesting findings during these tests.

The tests were pretty boring and mundane, just "pick this up" and "run to this side of the room to the other" they didn't turn interesting, and the scientists were starting to notice it too

Jeffery: "hey Gabriel, do you think we have to continue the tests?"

Gabriel: "what? We're only on test #13 out of 20."

Jeffery: "yeah but, this thing is very straightforward and never speaks, that it's almost boring me to sleep."

Gabriel: "when was the last time you saw a humanoid who didn't try to kill our other coworkers and actually wants to do the tests?"

Jeffery: "a few dozen test subjects ago?"

Gabriel: "exactly, we have to record it's findings so we probably won't be janitors in another sector!"

Jeffery: "forget it! I'm going to take a bathroom break!"

Gabriel: "fine, I'll write down any foundings you might hav-"

Gabriel: "oh he already left."

The silence grows thicker as the other scientist left, you feel like that's a bad thing.

Gabriel: "okay test #14"

He then brings out two pills, one in red, and the other in blue

Gabriel: "one is sweet, and the other is not sweet, your goal is to pick the one that is sweet, if you have a good nose, you can sniff the bad one out and eat the good one."

there is multiple notification sounds coming from the monitor.

Gabriel: "hold on for a moment."

He rushes to his pc to check what's the fuss about.

You smelled the pills and decided to not take them, the scientist was lying, they were both not sweet.

Screaming can be heard coming from next door

Gabriel: "oh god!"

He runs out the room, leaving you alone with the two pills on the flooring.

The screaming kept continuing until they eventually stopped and was followed by some weird noises.

Then the sounds of a alarm can be heard around the entire complex, as well as the red flashing surrounding the room, despite all that, you had no motive to get up and start running.

Sounds of running and shooting, people dying, the sounds of whatever they're dealing with outside.

This is fine alright, everyone getting slaughtered while you're worried about some dang pills that you are interested in looking at.

Maybe after awhile, the door broke open, the humanoid monster who sent this entire place to hell, is examining you.

"Hm"

They mumbled under their breath as if confused that you're not trying to run, you don't care as you can't recall anything that you can live for.

"What..ever.."

He said before spitting something at you, making your body freeze up as the spit begins to grow all over your body.

Before it covers your head, you heard the monster say something.

"New..civilization.."

And then you're covered.
