"Wait. So you're telling me that this thingy mabobber ate your cat?" Selina asked, looking back at Dustin, who was in the backseat. "He is not a thingy mabobber. Dart used to be my pet. He trusted me!" Dustin clarified, clearly offended by Selina's choice of words. "Hate to break it to you, but your 'pet' is a life-threatening type of species." Selina shrugged. "Selina!" Valerie and Selina were practically the same person.. except Selina was just careless and clueless."It's the truth!" Selina argued, "No offense." Dustin looked at Selina, his eyes narrowing. "Several taken."

It wasn't too long before they arrived at the Wheeler's. Dustin got out, leaving the girls in the car as he made his way to the door. To his surprise, Ted (Mike and Nancy's father) opened the door. They lowered the window just enough for them to hear the commotion between the two. "Your line has been busy for over two hours, Mr. Wheeler. Do you realize this?" Dustin said, frustration in his voice. "Oh, I do realize." Ted replied, not a hint of sympathy in his voice. "Is Mike home?" Dustin asked, getting straight to the point. "No." Ted shook his head slightly. "No? Well, where the hell is he?" Dustin asked, confused as to where Mike could be. Ted moved his head towards the inside of the house, "Karen, where's our son?" He asked, clearly unconcerned. "Will's!" She shouted. "Will's." He clarified, turning his head back to the boy. "No one's picking up there." Dustin signed. "Nancy. What about Nancy?" He asked. Ted turned back to the house. "Karen, where's Nancy?" He asked, maintaining the same tone. "Ally's!" Karen replied. "Ally's." Ted replied. "Our children don't live here anymore, you didn't know that?" Ted asked, sarcasm apparent in his tone. "Seriously?" Dustin turned to him. "Am I done here?" Ted asked, his eyebrows furrowed. "Son of a bitch. You're really no help at all, you know that?" Dustin replied, walking away from the house and towards Valerie's car. "Hey! Language." Ted shouted sternly. "What a dick!" Selina said, rolling her eyes at the man. Valerie scoffed at Ted, her head turning to see Steve Harrington's car. "Great. Perfect timing." Valerie rolled her eyes, gritting her teeth. Steve got out of his car, carrying a bouquet of flowers. "Listen.. I've been thinking," Steve said to himself. "I love you. I'm sorry." He paused in confusion, "I'm sorry? What the hell am I sorry for?" He scoffed. Selina's eyes went wide, a grin growing on her face. "This'll be fun to watch." Selina said. Valerie looked at Selina sternly, "Right. None of our business!" Selina said, looking away from Valerie. "Steve!" Dustin shouted. "Why is he interfering?" Valerie asked, not enjoying what was taking place. "Are those for Mr. or Mrs. Wheeler?" Dustin asked, pointing at the bouquet of flowers. "No.." Steve replied, confused as to why he asked. "Fuck this." Valerie said, getting out the car. "Weren't you only supposed to find Mike?" Valerie asked, walking towards Dustin. "Valerie?" Steve asked, looking back and forth between her and Dustin. "Harrington." She said, clearly uninterested in starting a conversation. "Come on, Dustin." She said, nudging her head towards her car. "Wait." Dustin said, holding his pointer finger up towards her. Dustin grabbed the bouquet from Steve's hand, walking towards Steve's car. "Hey! What the hell!" Steve asked, looking at Dustin. "Nancy isn't home." Dustin replied. "Where is she?" Steve asked, thinking of why she wasn't home. "Doesn't matter. We have bigger problems than your love life." He said, stopping in front of Steve's car and looking between Valerie and Selina. "Come on. Get in!" Dustin tapped the car twice, signaling to get in. Valerie looked at Selina, visibly frustrated, and Selina just shrugged. "Do you still have that bat?" Dustin asked. "Bat? What bat?" Steve asked, trying to process everything that was happening. "The one with the nails?" Dustin clarified, looking at Steve as if he should've known what he was talking about. "Why?" Steve asked, walking towards his car. "We'll explain it on the way." Dustin said. "You'll explain it on the way." Valerie said, under her breath. "You guys coming or not?" Dustin asked, nodding his head towards the two girls. Valerie glared at Steve, then looked towards Selina, to see what she wanted to do. She was already pulling the key from the ignition lock, before hopping out the car. "Are you serious?" Valerie asked, Selina stepping closer to Steve's car. "Why not?" She shouted back at her. They both got inside of the backseats, Dustin already have taken the passenger seat. Dustin began to explain everything as they made their way towards what was an unknown destination to Valerie and Selina.
