Chapter 13 - Never Giving Up

"I was just going for a walk and I saw a familiar set of messy blonde hair. Is that such a crime?"

"Yes Jake. What are you doing here?"

"Can't Niall talk for himself?" He looked at me smiling. "So who is this Harry?"

"He's-"

"My boyfriend". I cut Louis off.

"So you found your tongue ey?" I glared at him. What the fuck does he want from me? He slept with another guy while we were dating. What more does he want? There's nothing I can give to him.

"What do you want?"

"I want you back Ni".

"I don't love you Jake". I saw his eyes started to water. "What happened to Matthew anyway?"

"He dumped me". He shrugged.

"We'll that's too bad. Now go home". Louis yelled. I turned around and walked around Louis and Zayn, continuing my walk. I don't know why Jake has the sudden interest in getting back together with me. But he can get stuffed. He hurt me. "Niall wait!" Louis called. But I ignored him. I don't feel like talking about Harry. The way he's acting around me. Like he doesn't love me as much anymore. He can't look at me like he used to. I need to fix this. But I don't know how to. Maybe if I sing a song about not giving up to him. Show him how much he means to me. How much I care. But what song? And how? It has to at least be a little romantic. But what if I don't do enough? What if he doesn't believe me? What if he decides he doesn't want to do this with me anymore? I love him too much to just let him go. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialled his number. It rang three times then I hear his raspy voice.

"Hello".

"Hey Haz".

"What's up Niall?"

"Can we meet later?" He sighed.

"I have a party tonight".

"Oh". He is avoiding me now isn't he? My boyfriend who I love with all my heart is avoiding me.

"Why don't you,come?"

"Um...are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'll pick you up at 7".

"Okay".

"I've gotta go. See you later".

"Okay. And Haz?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you". The end tone rang through my ear. Tears started to well up in my eyes but I held them back. I need to fix this. Fast.

Harry's POV

"I love you". I hung up.

"Who was that?"

"Ah...just....my mum". Austin nodded. He soon frowned and I knew exactly what he was thinking.

"You invited your mum to Jason's party?"

"Ah......"

"Does Hazza have a girlfriend". He playfully punched my arm, smiling.

"No". I frowned shaking my head.

"Wait, wasn't that a guy?"

"Drop it Austin".

"I swear he said he lo-"

"I said drop it!" I yelled. He put his arms up in defence. I feel terrible for the way I've been acting with Niall lately. I'm just scared. Scared that I warm up to him again and he goes and kisses another guy. I'm scared that soon he'll just give up on us and go to some other guy. Soon he'll just leave. Leave my broken hearted.
