Jimmy's PoV
I woke up to a sudden ringing going off from my cell phone. I squinted my eyes to my alarm clock in order to see the time.
2:58 AM
I picked up my phone and answered it in of course my I was asleep voice, "Hello?"
"Hey. It's Manny. I know it's late, but I need someone to talk to. Is this a bad time?"
I hopped out my bed and put on my gray hoodie with some jeans, "Of course not! Ummm if you want I can meet you somewhere if you want?"
"Oh thank goodness! I was about to ask if we could. You know that bus stop near Degrassi right? Maybe I can meet you there?"
"Sure thing! I'll see you there Cutie!" I said before hanging up.
I went downstairs and grabbed my backpack. Since my parents are out, they won't notice that I'm gone.
I went into the kitchen and grabbed some chocolate bars, marshmallows, and some graham crackers before walking out the door.

After walking for a while, I finally arrived at the bus stop to see Manny waiting there for me. She smiled before standing up to wave at me, "Jimmy!"
I waved back as I got closer, "Hey! Umm I brought you something," I pulled the food I brought from the side of my backpack, "I know Craig used to get you flowers, but I do know that pregnant women have cravings so-"
Manny interrupted me but pulling me into a tight hug, "It's perfect! Thank you!"
I nodded before we sat down. Manny started to make a smore before I gave her a lighter, "Use this to heat it. I don't smoke, but my dad does."
Manny smiles before using the lighter as I held the smore. When the flame came up, she let out this cute giggle as I smiled, "I wasn't expecting that big of a flame!"
"Me either!"
I handed her the heated smore before she took a bite. She moaned in response so I assumed it tasted good.
We sat in a calm silence for a while before she looked at me.
"I'm getting an abortion."
I looked at her, "It's your decision. Not anyone else's."
"I know, but Emma and I got into this huge argument over it. Her mom and I talked and she supports me. I told my parents and I never seen them so upset before."
"I'm so sorry."
"Don't be. I'm used to it."
"You shouldn't be."
"I know that."
"You know a lot of things."
"People don't think I'm smart."
"Well you are," I smiled, "You know more than me. And Spinner. That's complement."
Manny's smiled returned before she looked over at me, "Will you go?"
"Go where?"
"To the clinic. I got an appointment for tomorrow. My parents won't go. I need support."
I reached over for Manny's hand and held it, "Of course I'll be there."
She smiled as we stared into each other's eyes. I've liked Manny since the first day I met her. But either one of us were taken or I was too shy to ask her.
Yes I get shy. Don't judge.
Manny is a very special girl. She deserves to be treated like the queen she is. There's so many things to love about her that I can rave about forever.
However, I'm giving her time before I make a move.
