You set the now empty cup back down before picking up your phone, not expecting to see any notifications. Contrary to your beliefs, you had 4 texts: one from Reiner, two from Mikasa, and one from Eren.
You opened Reiner's first.
Reiner Goooood morning. Bert and I had to go to films early, but we should be back around 11:30. Make yourself at home 😊
You liked his message and realized that you had about an hour and a half before they returned. You considered going home, not wanting to bother them or impose before remembering you had no way to do so since Reiner was the one who drove you there. Next, you opened your text conversation with Mikasa.

The last message was sent to you last night around 4 am, so you assumed she wanted this friend date to be today. You smiled to yourself before lastly opening the text from Eren.
