*BEEP BEEEP*
My alarm rang in my ear, I don't know why I put it so close to my bed. Getting up from my... very spooky bed... I looked at my very spooky room. Creepy cat clocks, a bunch of pumpkins, and a satanic circle! What doesn't my room have?
After doing the brushing of my teeth, I hopped into my closet. I could either wear my usual: A black suit with a white undershirt. Or I could wear my unusual: A nice plump orange coat with a black sweater under it. I reached to my dresser, and grabbed my phone. Weather, weather, weather... AH HA! Finding the weather app was hard, especially if you have as many apps as MOI! Only 24 degrees? Seems pretty cold... I stared at my unusual fit, and snatched it, doing a barrel roll backwards.
"Pump? Are you getting dressed?" My mum knocked on the door.
"YUP!" I jumped up when everything was on, and opened the door to see her. My mum had black eyes and dark brown curly hair. She's very nice, same with my dad. "HI MUM!" I waved at her face, and she laughed.
"Aw, you look so formal..." She pulled me in for a hug. I love her hugs, so warm and not too tight, but not too soft. "My adorable little Pump."
"Mum..." I hid my face, and she laughed again. I uncovered my eyes, and smiled. "What's for breakfast?"
"Your favorite for the first day of Spooky Month!" She walked out of the hallway, and to the wide kitchen that connected to the living room. There was my FAVORITE BREAKFAST IN THE WORLD laying down on a plate on the dinner table.
I gasped in shock, and... more shock."Oh... thanks for the Pumpkin Pancakes Mum! But... but..." I whimpered, this was probably dramatic. But this was SERIOUS. Mum asked if I was ok, then I kinda slurred it out of my mouth. "MUM! IFORGOTSPOOKYMONTHANDSKID'SGONNAGETMADCUZIDON'TEVERFORGETABOUTSPOOKYMONTH!!!!!!!!" I panted and saw my mum's panicked expression. I flailed my arms hysterically.
"Uh- I'm... Pump?-" My mum blinked a few times, trying to process what just happened. "Ah, Pump... it's natural to forget things. Especially Spooky Month." She pushed the steaming plate of pancakes towards me. Well I better eat them before they get cold.
----(Time Skip)----
"BYE MUM!!!" I waved goodbye, and left my house. Mum always locks the door behind me, even though I'm old enough to have a house key. I shrugged it off, and walked on to my bus stop. I wonder if Y/N knows if it's Spooky Month... I took in the fresh smell of the cold morning air.
"Hey Pump!!!" Skid ran up towards me when I passed his house. "Happy First Day of Spooky Month!" He smiled widely at me.
"Happy First Day of Spooky Month to you too!" I inhaled sharply, talking like this really does take your breath away, huh? "So...? Annual Going to the Candy Club?" I asked, rubbing my arm. It wasn't at all annual. We used to go there all the time as kids. So we didn't really care if it was... like, June or sumthin'.
"Yup, this also means... uh, don't we usually do something dangerous?" Skid looked up at the partly clouded sky.
"Oh, maybe we should visit Eyes?" I looked at him, remembering all of our adventures that we had as kids. Especially the Happy Fella... how could I forget a doll trying to kill me!? "Or Frank? No cuz..."
