A Small Problem

'what should I do? I can't confront him, i've asked everyone for advice and got nothing, and' it was then that it occurred to you that you hadn't seen Dark Pit all day 'Is he avoiding me?' you thought to yourself. while you puzzled it over, you wern't particularly watching where you were flying and felt yourself crash into someone.

"Ouch! geez (Y/N) watch where your going!" said a familiar voice. you looked up and saw your best friend Pit, rubbing his shoulder.

"heh, sorry about that, I was kinda lost in thought..." you said sheepishly, landing on the ground as her flew down next to you.

"yeah, I could tell! I called your name out a couple times, but you just kept on going! he laughed and your face flushed just bit from embarrassment, but you managed a smile. Then it hit you like a bullet in the brain. you had yet to ask Pit about what you should do! Sure he might be a bit clueless in the romantic field, but at this point you were desperate.

"Hey Pit, can I ask you something?"

"Well actually (Y/N), I had something I wanted to ask you" he said, blushing a little bit.

"Yessssss?" you said as his face got redder

"Will you go out with me?" he said quickly, staring at you with wide eyes. those eyes of his just killed you, bright blue and full of hope. You couldn't tell him, no you couldn't tell him. But then it hit you. HE JUST ASKED YOU OUT!!! Your brain froze as you tried to figure out how to respond, but then he spoke again,

"(Y/N) I know your my best friend but for awhile now, I've started to feel something more for you. Your beautiful and talented and kind and the most perfect being I have ever laid eyes on and" he paused and took a small breath, "I think I love you"

It was too much for you. Pit, your best friend, had just said he loved you but you had kissed Dark Pit last night. so you did the only logical thing one can do in your situation; you bolted for it.
