𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 sitting at a table, she was nervous but kept it cool, as she stared at her parents. took a deep breath and said
"Okay..ready." Mei said, calming herself down, as her parents showed the first picture.
"Deforestation." Ming said, raising a brow, while Jin was showing the picture, she tried not to show any emotion and keep it in.
they moved on to another picture "Sad orangutan." her mother mimicked the poor animal, this time, the red haired girl made bigger sad eyes but still was serious.
"Your second spelling bee trophy!" She said aggressively, that was it, Mei couldn't hold it anymore.
she closed her eyes, with cheeks puffed. she zoned off and went off to her imaginary world.

it was a beach, her best friends surrounding her. they hugged the panda girl and closed their eyes.
"We love you girl!" they all said, mei took a deep breath and smiled.

back to the normal world, she calmed herself down, and said
"What. a. shame.." her parents backed away and widened their eyes, how could this be? Ming thought to herself.
they looked at eachother and nodded, Jin got up and went to grab something. while the mother and daughter seemed to be having a staring contest.
until he arrived, a box in his hands. in which, they handed it to Mei and signaled to open it, she hesitantly opened it.
to find..KITTENS..they looked so cute! and cuddly, Mei made big cute eyes, as the kittens started to crawl out of the box and climb her arms.
once again, she went to her imaginary world, as her friends hugged her tightly, y/n looked at her, the biggest smile plastered on her face.
which made Mei smile too, as she stopped hallucinating. she calmed herself down again, grabbing one of the kittens.
"H-how is this possible?!" Ming stuttered, surprised, Mei smiled and replied
"It's..easy! I just think of the people that I love the most...which- is you guys!" She added into the end of her sentence, while her mom gave her a big grin.

"NO! absolutely not!" Ming said, refusing her request. Mei asked for a reason, while begging, down on her knees.
"Ming..maybe we should trust her" Jin said, while reading the info about the group.
"It's them I don't trust! Look at those glittery delinquents with their..ugh..gyrations!" she said, pointing at the members, clearly disgusted.
"Why on earth do you want to go so badly?!" She asked, wanting an answer from her daughter, as Mei saw the moments flash through her eyes.
not wanting to reveal the real reason, she gave some excuse but they still refused to let her go to the concert.
as she was packing the stuff from her presentation, she passed by her mother and rolled her eyes in annoyance.
her mother widened her eyes in surprise by her sudden change of attitude.
"And two hundred dollars?! For what? Who do they think they are? Celine Dion?!" She said, as the cellphone rang, she put the poster away from her and then a hand on her temple.
"Hm! Unbelievable, where did she get that from? Treating her own mother like this, isaw that look" she mumbled in anger.
"Ming, it's your mother.." Jin said, while she panicked.
