Chapter one:

" Come on! You need to get out. Live life. Stop worrying about your studies " My friend expresses her frustration to me.

I sigh as she keeps looking at me in concern. I roll my eyes before giving my same lame excuse.

" I want to graduate with good marks. I have 7 assignments that need to be handed by 11:59pm tomorrow".

I'm a sophomore and studying to be a nurse. I don't know why I choose that career. Maybe because my whole family are in that field.  I feel pressure to pursue the same career. There's nothing much for me than becoming a nurse. I have not found a career I am pationate for.

I graduated high school and became lost. Nothing fascinates me. Life moved to fast for me.

" YAH! Are you going to answer me?" My friend snapped me back to reality. I refocused my attention to her.

" Sorry? What did you say?" I answered back hoping she won't get angry.

" April... " She replied

I scrunched my face lightly as she used my English name.

" I just want you to get some stress out for you. That's all. I am not trying to nag you. You'll do great and graduate as top student but I won't force anymore alright" She continued.

I nodded and looked at the time. " It's late. I need to get going home" I said.

She nodded and let me go. She gotten use to me randomly leaving at times because I want to work on my assignments.

I got up and said my bye's. I left walking to my house and headed straight to the shower before I start my all nighter.

I get out of the shower and turn my laptop and continued my essay. I worked on it for 2 hours before checking the time reading 3am. I stretched and heard my phone vibrate. I looked at my phone showing a random number. I looked at it confused. I never get messages.

You see I am quite anti social and do not like meeting new people.

I swiped open my phone reveling the message.

It read :

It was nice to get to know you today. I hope we can get to know each other more : ).
                                                  B.C~
                 ----------------

I started thinking who it could be. I never met anyone who have these initials. Neither have a met anyone new in the past year. So I made a conclusion it was a wrong number.

I hesitated to message back not wanting him to feel awkward or hurt knowing that this person got stood up. I felt bad. That's quite mean to do to someone.

I gathered up all my courage and messaged back
