Trixie's horn lit up, the curtain opened and the sunlight filled the room.
"Time to wake up my little trouble maker" Trixie trotted over to Her daughters bed and gave her a little shake awake.

"Wakey wakey Eclipse! You've been sent something really important from Canterlot! 'Open ASAP'"

The young pony stretched her arms out and yawned.
"I have..?"

"Mhmm! It's from aunt Twilight, do you want me to open and read it"

Eclipse, still half asleep, nods.
___________________
"Mhmm!" Trixie cleared her throat. "Dear Eclipse, I request your presence at canter-lot castle today. I have a special assignment which I think you and you alone are the only one who could fulfill this task to the highest degree. I look forward to seeing you.
Princess Twilight Sparkle."

Eclipse sprung up from her bed.
"Princess Twilight wants me in Canterlot??" She practically bounces around the room in excitement.

Trixie smiles "it seems so gem! You better hurry up and get ready! Looks like we've got a train to catch"

ruffled up Eclipses hair then left her alone to get ready for the trip.

The train ride to Canterlot was surprisingly quick, there wasn't many ponies other than the usual business ponies. When they reached the station they grabbed their bags and were greeted by a royal guard. Eclipse, Sunburst and Trixie were all escorted to the palace.

"Why did we need to be escorted??"
Trixie turned to Sunburst.

"I'm not sure, it's probably just protocol for guests to make sure they don't get lost" he replies while fixing the glasses on his face.

Eclipse Ran ahead of everyone, she was so excited to be in Canterlot. She didn't visit often because of how busy her parents were running the school of friendship. She only really got to go for when she had private magic classes every so often, and when she had to go visit her big sister, Luster Dawn.

The Castles insides were as grand as ever, the beautiful chandeliers, the fabulous decor, Eclipse found it breathtaking. Everyone made their way to the throne room where twilight was alongside Luster Dawn. Eclipse rolled her eyes at the sight of her older sister.

Twilight greeted every pony with a smile. "Hello every pony, I'm glad you managed to make it here safely and quickly" the massive mare made her way over to Eclipse and stood standing over her.

"The train ride was very quick surprisingly!" Sunburst chuckled and put his hoof on Trixie's shoulder.
__________________
Twilight gave a small chuckle then changed her attention onto Eclipse.
"Eclipse, I'm so thankful you came."
Eclipse grinned. "It's my pleasure auntie! I mean I didn't really have a choice considering but ya know oh well!!"
Twilight paused and then chuckled.
"Well you're not entirely wrong young one, but I'm thankful for your presence nonetheless".

"Anyway Eclipse, onto the matter I have called upon you for. This task I have for you may be quite challenging, however I know your reputation and I believe a challenge is something you quite enjoy"
Eclipse nodded.
"Well"
Twilight turned her head to face the door that was behind her and to the left.
