Chapter 22: The Other World

Present Still Eren's POV:

It felt like I was in a nightmare. I watched as all my memories and other memories fly past me, everyone I knew, everything I've done, past people have done that I've seen. It was all in an instant, but was soon ended as I opened my eyes to see a large tree thing, and a larger one behind the tree in front of me. 'Where am I?' My eyes widened and looked around harshly as I searched for Y/N.
"The Coordinate, where all Paths converge. That's my theory, but I quite don't understand the larger one behind the first one." Zeke explains as I turned around, looking at him as he is chained to the sand. "When members of the royal family inherited the Founder, and exercised it's power, I think it transported them to the plane we're on now." He explains.
"Hello, Brother." I greeted, bitterly.
"I've been waiting for so long, Eren. Sitting here alone in silence. Years running together. Wondering when you were finally going to wake up." He said, quietly.
"Are you telling me that we've been here for years?" I asked.
"That's a hard question to answer-" Zeke was cut off by a small voice.
"No. Zeke's soul has been in here for years, You've just arrived. . . Eren Yeager." The voice spoke. I looked around angrily, searching.
"Everything that happens here passes in an instant out there." Zeke explains, looking for the voice as well.
"Gabi blew our heads clean off." My eyes continued to search for the voice.
"But in those few moments, before your brain shut down completely, we made contact, alongside with her." Zeke explains. "Our plan was a success. The power of the Founding Titan. . . Is in our hands. I felt a presence, and looked towards the tree thing and saw two figures standing there, holding hands.
"Someone's here." I glared, as my eyes widened at the sight.
"The little girl isn't a threat to us. Don't worry, but, She is." Zeke explains. "She is the only person who can stop the plan completely." He continues. "That girl is the Founder Ymir." He finishes.
"That little girl is Ymir?" I asked, as I was trying to focus on why Y/N is here. "How do you know? And How's Y/N a threat." I glared, watching them walk towards us.
"That's the only thing that makes any sense. Who else would be wandering around in a place like this?" Zeke questions. "Plus, I will get to Y/N later." He glares. "The last time I came here, she reformed my broken body from the ground and returned me to life. I suspect she's been here for eons, sculpting Titans from the earth. Toiling away, spending years at a time molding their bodies, anytime we called upon their power." Zeke finished. Ymir and Y/N were now standing right in front of us.
"So she's been alone, trapped in this empty place." I sighed, as I turned to look at Y/N who was emotionless.
"Eren, You must command the Founder Ymir. At last, it's time for us to fulfill this dream we've been pursuing, but you must get Ymir away from Y/N." Zeke trembles. I gasped, then tried to change the subject.
"Those chains around your neck." I spoke up.
"I was starting to wonder if you were ever going to say anything about that. Well, even if it took a while, I appreciate your concern. These chains are what prevent me from using her power as I please. They're the vow renouncing war. As I thought, you're the only one with the ability to move freely here, except for her, which means you're the only one capable of taking command of the Founder's power." Zeke states. We stood there for a moment, as I looked at Y/N, tears slowly starting to form. "Do it, and fulfill the dream we shared. You, me, and Mister Ksaver. Please. Save our world, Eren." He pleads. I clenched my fits, as I felt Y/N's presences closer to me, as she grabs my hand. "Eren?" Zeke questions in shock. Y/N's touch soon reached to my shoulders, as I felt a wave of guilt travel over me. "Activate the power of the Founder, and get rid of Y/N." He protests. "Do what we came here to do. Have her take away every Eldian's ability to produce children! Once that's done you can use the rumbling to take out the Allied Forces." I turned away from Zeke, as Y/N wraps her arms around my waist, causing me to cry softly.
"Do you seriously believe I'd euthanized the Eldian people?" I growled in anger, as I brush my fingers through Y/N's hair, letting my emotions free.
"Eren. . ." Zeke gasped.
"What kind of person do you take me for?! I would never go along with that repulsive plan!" I shouted, tensing up, as Y/N's grip got tighter. "Sorry, Brother. I've been against you from the start. I was just playing along to make sure I'd get this far." I glared, as I walked towards Ymir, holding Y/N's hand. I heard Zeke sob behind us, as I listened to him speak.
"This world will be a living hell. As long as Eldian people are part of it! You have to do this now, or else the bloodshed will never stop. This cycle of killing we're caught up in will just keep repeating till the end of time! So why? Why won't you end it? Tell me! Is it because of that witch you're with!?" Zeke shouts, causing me to shout at him with anger.
"NO! 'Cause I have a right to live in the world I was born to!" I shouted. We stopped in front of the Founder.
"Founder Ymir. Grant me the power to protect our people." I asked, holding a hand out.
"GAH!-" Y/N shouts, as she gets chained to the sand.
"Y/N!" I shouted.

"I suspected as much, Eren. But I wanted to think that you, of all people, would understand. Can the scars that man left on your mind really be that deep!?" Zeke shouts, as I watched as Ymir sat in front of him.
"What's going on? Why isn't Ymir obeying me? And why did she lock Y/N on the sand?" I questioned loudly for Zeke to hear.
"In the years I spent waiting for you to wake up, I learned quite a bit. I learned that the Founder can make anything. She can even shape the earth into these chains. But only by the will of a person with royal blood, like me, or an L/N." He explained, as I quickly turned to Y/N who was still struggling to get up. "And unlike the Kings of the Walls. Who had this power before me, my mind was never tainted by the ideology of the first king. Thanks to that, during all that time I spent here with the Founder waiting for you to wake up, I discovered a way to nullify the vow renouncing war. Ymir has the power to do almost anything you can imagine, but as a slave she lacks the will to exercise that power for herself. She'll submit to anyone who bears Eldian royal blood in their veins and obey their orders without questions. In short, the Founder's power is mine alone." Zeke finishes.
"That can't be!" I shouted.
"You were no more than the key I needed to unlock that power, Eren." He pointed, as I looked at my arm to see it was chained up as well. "I waited to hear your true feelings, and that was the right decision." He explains, as I looked around in panic. "This is not your fault. It was our monster of a father who twisted you with his brainwashing, the same as he did with me. Your little girlfriend is part of this too. Anyway, Except, I had another father, who saved me from that misery. It might not have come to this if you'd had somebody to save you. I give you my word that I won't abandon you now. I promise, I'll use the power of the Founder to fix you!" Zeke yells.
"DON'T LET HIM GET INTO YOUR HEAD!!! EREN!!!" Y/N shouts from behind me, as I heard cracks and shaking from the chains.
"You're wasting your breath!" I glared. Suddenly, I heard trotting behind me, as I glanced behind to see Y/N running towards me.
"I AM GOING TO SAVE THE WORLD! AND I'LL SAVE IT WITH YOU!!" Zeke shouts, as I felt Y/N's hand on my leg as Zeke's, and I's heads collide together, causing sparks to fly around. . .
