"They're making me move away, they were gonna tear us apart!" Marcy's eyes threatened to spill tears, her arms out, not for a hug, but as another grand gesture.

"Marcy-" Anne's eyes were as big as the moon, horrified and betrayed at her friends truth.

"I-I found the box, I had no idea that it would actually work, but it did!" Her voice cracked at that. Marcy swiftly walked toward Anne and Sasha, grabbing their hands with her own.

"A-and he's send us to place where we'd never have to grow apart! Where the three of us, could be friends forever together!"

Sasha growled, ripping her hands away from Marcy, betrayal and hurt in her eyes.

"How could you??" Anne raised her voice, not quite yelling, but not quiet either. "I've been missing my parents, my life!"

"But, look at how much fun we've had! Look at how much you've both grown! Look at Sprig, I gave you this, I gave you everything!" The dam broke, tears freely traveling down Marcy's cheek like a rushing waterfall.

Anne gritted her teeth. "Everything? You- gave ME, everything?!" She yelled, anger replacing the hurt face she once wore, her fury burning away any sadness or betrayal.

"You took away everything! I had my whole life ahead of me on Earth! And you took it away just so you wouldn't be alone?" Bitterness seeped into every word. Anne clenched her fists hard, looking at Marcy with a furious expression.

"Annie I-"

"Don't 'Annie' me! You took away my pet, my parents, my life! I can't believe you Marcy!" She was full on screaming now, gripping Marcy by a fistful of her cape, tears making a silent decent down her face.

Marcy ripped herself free from Anne's grasp, looking at her at horror. "Anne- please.. I did it for us!"

"You did it for yourself." Anne growled, glaring at Marcy with pure hatred. She unsheathed her sword from its scabbard, causing Marcy to aim her portable crossbow in self defense.

"Anne, I don't want to fight! Just please.. put the sword down." Her voice cracked while she said it, the world crumbling down right in front of her.

Anne, her best friend, now enemy facing her with a face that she didn't know could produce such hatred and malicious intent. Truly, Marcy didn't want to fight, and deep down, neither did Anne. But blinded by rage, she raised up her sword, crashing it down onto Marcy.

She grunted as her sword was met with resistance, Marcy held up her crossbow, now nearly broken in half. "Anne, please!"

Sprig and Sasha looked in horror as everyone else did the same. Nobody could believe that just under an hour ago, these two would've protected each other with their lives. Now they protected their lives against each other.

"Anne, don't!" Sprig called, crying out for a rage-blinded Anne. She didn't listen, instead putting more force onto the poor crossbow.

Marcy riskily sweeped her hand free, going under the sword quickly and raising it back up to her chest. It caused Anne's sword to temporarily get stuck in the ground before she pulled it out.

Out of fear, Marcy pulled the trigger on her crossbow, shooting a bolt that grazed Anne's lower jaw, leaving a thin line of blood and a small injury.

Anne shot out, swinging her sword down again. Marcy screamed and barely dodged the blade, pulling out her own dagger to defend herself better.

Sasha went in between the two of them, her swords at both of their chests "Stop this right now! I don't care what Marcy's done anymore, we are NOT hurting her!"

"Anne, put the sword down." Sasha said, asserting a stern tone in her statement. "End. Of. Discussion."

Anne pushed Sasha away, thrusting her sword forward and hitting the nearest thing.

It was Marcy.

Sasha screamed, whether in horror, failure, or both, Anne couldn't tell. All she could tell was how she could feel Marcy's skin part as the sword went through her abdominal area.

Marcy's eyes went as wide as saucers, tears threatening to spill. Blood pooled out, staining her clothes, the sword, and the ground. It was a nightmarish scene that deserved to stay in nightmares only. But yet here it was, in real life.

"I-I'm sorry.. for everything Anne..." Marcy's body slowly slid down to the floor, her cape drifting over her body.

The last thing she ever saw was a horrified Anne, desperately reaching out for her until it all went black.
