Chapter 14: I want you.

"So you left all your friends?" I ask still in shock in what he's telling me

"No, I left everything that had to do with you. Nicole I want nothing to do with you." He finished

That hit me hard. It felt like my heart shattered into pieces that couldn't get put back together again.

He still didn't even look at you.

Yup. He hasn't even looked at me in the eyes. He just stares off like he has better places to be.

I accidentally let out a sob I was holding in. I put a fist against my mouth and bit it, trying to hold in the following sobs. But it didn't work.

"You want nothing to do with me?" I asked in between sobs

He nods. Still looking bored.

"Okay." I breathe out still crying.

When I said that his body tensed. I let out another sob watching him. He slowly turned to look at me. When his eyes met mine I swear I saw them soften but he covered it up.

"Are you seriously still crying?" He asked me with annoyance lacing his voice. I flinched from the harshness of it

"I'm sorry." I cry out. Then I ran. I left all my things on the floor. I went to my locker and grabbed something I thought I would never end up using. I took my phone out from my pocket and hurriedly wiped tears from my eyes.

I pressed Baileys phone number and it rang 2 times before she answered.

"Hey Nicky what's up?" She asked happily

"I'm sorry if you hate me for doing this. I can't do this anymore Bail. I don't want to be here." I sob looking at the very sharp object in my hand

"What? What are you going to do? Nicky where are you?" She asked hurriedly

"I'm at my locker. Bailey, Emmett doesn't want anything to do with me. He hates me. Bailey, I love him, and he hates me. I can't do this anymore." I sob

"Nicky don't you dare do anything, I'll be right there" She said and I heard shuffling noises in the back. I knew she had a free period.

"Good bye." I say and end the call.

I look at the razor

Don't do it

Nicole don't do it

You'll regret it

I tried to convince myself not to do it. But every time I tried, I came with a reason why I should. I mean my own parents don't even care if Kyle and I are alive or not. The only boy I've ever loved hates me...

Don't leave Kyle

He needs you

I let out a frustrated yell and threw the razor across the hallway. Then heard heavy footsteps. Bailey, Kai and Ethan ran around the corner with worried faces. Wow I totally forgot they all had study hall together. What a coincidence.

"Nicky!" Ethan yelled running up to me with Bailey and Kai on his tail.

He stopped right in front of me and Bailey and Kai both joined him.

"Where is it?" Bailey asked getting right to the point

I pointed my finger to the razor blade on the floor on the opposite side of the hallway. Ethan looked shocked and angry, but relieved at the same time. Kai just looked like a lost puppy. And Bailey? Bailey looked like she was going to cry.

She went to go and retrieve the blade while I stared at my wrist, which I had done nothing to. But right now I wish I did.

"You were going to cut?" Kai asked confused

I nod

"Why" Ethan asked

"Emmett." Bailey answered for me. I looked up and saw her sadness replaced with anger. This anger was way different then the times before. This was Bailey's 'I'm-going-to-fucking-murder-whoever-did-this' kind of anger. And the only time I've seen her like this was with Aiden, and when she was done with him he came out with 2 broken arms and a black eye.

Watch out Emmett, world war III is coming your way, and it isn't going to be pretty.

"Kai?" She said with the same look plastered on her face

"Y-yeah?" Kai asked looking at Bailey like she was a bomb about to explode. Which was basically true

"Call Emmett. Tell him to meet you here." She ordered in a tone that was so calm, it was scary

"O-okay" He stuttered then did as he was told

"What are you going to do?" I ask Bailey

"Remember Aiden?" She asked looking at me

"Yeah?" I urge her to continue

"Worse." She finished

My eyes widened, not from being afraid of Bailey, but being afraid for Emmett.

Kai came back telling us that Emmett agreed and was on his way while Ethan was silently watching us. I wonder what he's thinking.

"Penny for your thoughts?" I whisper to Ethan trying to lighten the mood

"I-" He was cut off from a loud crack in the hallways

Ethan and I turned out heads to see Bailey standing in front of a very un-conscious Emmett.

"WHAT HAPPENED" I whispered/screamed

"Punched him" Bailey shrugged

I turned around to see Kai have a very shocked yet proud face

"Damn Babe." He nodded in approval

She smiled at him but turned to me

"He deserved it." She said trying to reason with me

"What cracked?" I ask trying to see if anything was wrong with Emmett

I grabbed his head but felt blood on my hand. I froze.

"Bailey did he fall right on his head?" I ask with a shaking voice

"Yeah, why?" She asked confused about what's wrong

"Emmett?" I say shaking him

No response. I checked his pulse. He still has a heart beat.

"Emmett!" I shake him more aggressively. He groaned and his eyes shot open.

"Nicky?" He asks groggily

"Yeah?" I say with tears in my eyes

"I'm sorry." His eyes start to water

"Em why are you crying?" I ask while tears fall down

"My head hurts, and I fucked up." He said as a tear fell down his cheek

"Yeah, you did" I agreed

"Nicky?" He asked again

"Yeah?" I answer"

"I know what I want" He says

"What is that?"

"You" Then he kissed me. The kiss I haven't felt for a month or more. And let me tell you, it felt awesome.

Yeah sorry this chapter is kind of depressing.... But hey another chapter out!!! I'm on a roll, I'm gonna give myself a pat on the back
