You guys met on the mountain with Rui. Both you and Giyu had shown up just in time to save Tanjiro against the lower rank (you are Giyu's tsuguko).

You both met on the mugen train. Once reports of a twelve Kizuki came to the master, you were sent out as backup. You arrived just before Enmu was beheaded and helped Rengoku fight Akaza.
Zenitsu Agatsuma
You two met in the Kyogoku house in the Red Light District. You were a disciple of one of Uzui's wives, Hinatsuru, and you infiltrated the house along with her.
Kanao Tsuyuri
You guys met at the butterfly mansion, as you work along Aoi and the girls to help train and take care of the injured demon slayers.
Genya Shinazugawa
You both met on a mission in which lots of young children had been disappearing. You started speaking to him on the way back about Sanemi
