"Boys in blue! Got you another psychopath"Spider-Man said as he walked into the Police Department with someone who was wrapped in webs, the person had a green colored suit, a purple colored cape and a fishbowl helmet.

"Spider-Man. You got him, we could've handled that but thanks for the help"George Stacy said

"No problem Mr. Stacy, just doing my job"Spider-Man said

"Spider-Man, we've been working with each other for two years now, you can call me George"George said

"Ok..no problem, George"Spider-Man said

"So, what did this crazy guy do?"George asked

"Oh, he went around making images with some Illusion tech, calls himself Mysterio and for some reason really loves to speak in the third person, think he just likes hearing his name"Spider-Man said

"How dare you speak of Mysterio as if he is some random bum! Mysterio is a master of the Arcane Arts!"Mysterio shouted

"Well Mysterio's about to be the master of the jail cell he's gonna be in"George said. "Thanks Spider-Man, I'll take it from here"

As George grabs Mysterio, Mysterio jerks around and his fishbowl on his head falls onto the floor, revealing who was underneath.

"Hey. Isn't he that waiter at that restaurant?"One of the officers asked

"No...isn't he that snooty usher at that one broadway place? I couldn't get in because of that guy"Another officer said

"No way. He was that Ring Announcer at that underground fight tournament we took down a year ago?"One more officer asked

"Mysterio feels...not safe"Mysterio said

"Thanks again, Spider-Man"George said

"No problem, George. Like I said..just doing my job"Spider-Man said before turning towards the door and running out of the Police Department, jumping into the air and swinging across New York.

"Yeah! Spidey!"

"Big fan Spidey!"

It's been two years since he's seen Flint Marko, since he fought Venom, since...the death of his best friend Harry Osborn. A lot has happened these past two years. Harry was buried, Peter and Mary Jane reconnected a year after Harry's funeral, Peter's job at the Daily Bugle...well he got a raise...sort of, he still takes pictures but the Daily Bugle is now not only a Newspaper business, but now is also a News Station, times have to keep going am I right?

Anyway, Peter has been able to find a balance between his life as Peter Parker and Spider-Man, he and Mary Jane are doing great, they've found a nice and stable relationship and they're going strong, crime has been down, not a lot of big villains have shown up, just some wannabe villains.

Peter's already got many things planned for today, so he's taking Mary Jane to a new Techno Expo later tonight, then they go out to dinner, and then at the very end, he proposes, this is it. This is when his life will truly take a turn for the better, he feels great right now, he feels...Spectacular.

Peter walks towards his apartment before he sees Ursula walk out of her and her father's apartment with many boxes, she was dressed like she was ready to leave.

"Hi"Ursula said

"Wow, time really flies by. Moving out already?"Peter asked

"Yeah. Dan and I will be officially living with each other...once I get these which are thankfully the last of my stuff loaded into the car and get them to his house"Ursula said

Ursula has been doing great too. Found herself a boyfriend, who Peter has actually met fairly recently, and Dan told Peter that he's planning to propose soon, Peter of course doesn't want to ruin the surprise so he didn't tell Ursula. Ursula has also found herself a nice stable job.

"Still hard to believe you know, it's feels like yesterday you were Mr. Ditkovich's daughter who was right next door"Peter said

"Yeah...well...things change, Peter. This might be goodbye, you're still planning on proposing to Mary Jane soon, right?"Ursula asked

"Of course, planning on doing it tonight"Peter said

"Good. It's good to see your life be on track, Peter. With all the stress you've had since I met you, it's nice to see you relaxed and happy"Ursula said

"Yeah...never thought I'd get these types of moments"Peter said

"Well I wish the best for you and Mary Jane, Peter. Once again it's good to see your life change for the better. Goodbye, Peter"Ursula said before walking down the steps.

"Bye"Peter said before heading into his apartment.

Yeah I know, really short chapter it may seem. But I promise this is just the calm before the storm. Wanted to use this chapter as an update on Peter's life after the events of Spider-Man 3, and I think you've noticed a common theme I've dropped some times throughout this chapter, wonder if you can guess what it is.
