Gone

I could feel your heart beating

It was going a mile a minute

You seemed nervous

I couldn't figure out why

I started to feel uneasy

You were breathing heavily

I tried to ask you what was wrong but you wouldn't speak

It was almost as if you couldn't

You left in a rush

You left me confused

You wouldn't talk to me

Eventually you just faded away

I thought about you everyday

You stopped coming to school

You stopped talking to me

Months passed there was no sign of you

Until that horrible day

You finally responded to me

We met at our special spot

I was confused but overwhelmed with joy

I was so happy to see you again

If only i had known that would be the last time i'd ever see you again

You meant everything to me

There one second and gone the next
