𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜 - 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨

𝟬𝟬𝟰. 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗸𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻

It was Thursday morning when Amelia arrived in Saudi Arabia,

She missed Bahrain due to a high fever which if they didn't know any better would have assumed it was COVID-19,

"You've got two interviews today in the media pen and then something at the box." Amelia explained as she looked through her list of notes,

"Only three?" Toto asked as he cocked his head feeling surprised by the small number,

"You said you didn't want to do a lot of press this weekend Toto," the pr manager spoke in a duh tone,

"So I got you out of the other three," she added with a shrug as looked up from her notepad.

"How'd you do that?" The team manager could see the smirk on her face,

"Told them that I was certain my dad would love to talk about Redbull and their championship winner." The blonde explained as she let out a chuckle,

"I like having you around already Horner," the brunette smiled as he threw is arm around the girl as they made their way back into the Mercedes team hub.

"What are you looking at?" Daniel asked as he cocked his head seeing his teammate looking fixated at something,

"Who is that?" 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐒 motioned towards the blonde that turned to look at someone therefore revealing her face to the McLaren drivers in the process,

"No way," the Australian felt his whole body tense up as he went into a state of panic.

"What?" The Brit furrowed his eyebrows as he noticed the change in his teammate,

"Didn't think Amelia would be back in the paddock," Daniel spoke aloud as he shook his head,

"Especially with Mercedes." He added with a soft scoff realising that she was very well no longer apart of the red bull family,

Cementing just how far apart they had fallen.

"Who is Amelia?" Lando furrowed his eyebrows as he cocked his head,

"Horners kid," Daniel explained as he took his cap off to push his hair out of his face,

"I've got to go," he added as he walked off not even giving Lando the chance to respond,

"That was weird," the Brit shook his head as he watched the older driver move further away from the Mercedes hub.

The Horner child felt as though she had spent the whole day walking,

"Shit I'm sorry," Amelia was quick to apologise when she was knocked off of her feet,

"No worr-" a voice responded as they held a hand out to her,

"Daniel," the blondes eyes went wide as she recognised the boy that stood in front of her

"Amelia," Daniel's voice was shaky as he watched her get up,

"This is not how I pictured that this would go," the Brit confessed as she dusted off her pencil skirt,
