Klaus nodded his head in agreement. "Let's just see how today plays out before we do anything further with her."

The twins stayed beside one another, with Matthias showing Klaus the items that Katherine and Rhea had bought for his child. Klaus couldn't deny that he was happy for Matthias, this was Matthias' happy ending, and he would do anything for his brother.

Suddenly, Elijah entered the room with Rebekah's witch body in tow.

"It was this witch Eva." Rebekah told them while pacing. "The nasty, little cow is inside me, trying to bust her way out."

"Why not just go back into your original body then?" Matthias shot at her. "Oh right, because you want to play human."

Rebekah glared at Matthias and Elijah said. "Freya is waiting downstairs. Perhaps..."

"Why Freya?" Rebekah asked with a frown on her face. "Matthias, surely you can help me right?"

Matthias looked over at Klaus and Klaus shrugged his shoulders, it was Matthias' choice. "Why?" Matthias asked her with a tilt of his head. "You and Elijah are my least favorite siblings and honestly, you both annoy me to great ends when it comes to this witch downstairs."

"Matthias, Nik, she is our sister!" Rebekah stated in frustration. "I've known it since she saved me from the Fauline Cottage."

"Because she saved you?" Matthias asked her humorlessly. "Right so that means if someone saved you and then told you that they were your long-lost sibling, you would trust them?" Matthias let out a scoff. "Right but when it came to trusting Klaus and I, you didn't hesitate to stab us in the back time and time again. If I recall, you even worked with Mikael to kill us back in Mystic Falls, then again several months ago with Marcel in hopes to take down Klaus."

"What does that have to do with anything?" Rebekah asked him with a frown. "You're my brother."

"You don't act like I am." Matthias shot at her. "If you want Freya's help then so be it, but I will not do a single spell to help you or Elijah."

With that Matthias left the room and Klaus gave them a look. "You heard him, there's our answer."

Klaus followed after his brother while Elijah brought Freya upstairs to where Rebekah was waiting for her.

"You truly do not trust Freya as much as I, brother." Klaus spoke up. "Elijah and Rebekah seemed to be wrapped around her finger."

"Because they're sentimental fools." Matthias scoffed. "Elijah and Rebekah will believe anything she says because she's better an ally than an enemy."

Klaus nodded his head and scowled as he thought about his two siblings. "Shall we piss them off?"

Matthias couldn't help but crack a smile. "As long as I get to snap her neck."

Klaus laughed as they walked back into the room to see Freya and Rebekah sitting on the couch together.

"The spirit of the host body is powerful, but I can cast a spell," Freya cupped Rebekah's cheek. "Put you in a deep sleep, and then suppress this other essence. You'll be just fine." She promised.

Rebekah looked nervous as she sighed. "Lovely, when do we start?"

Klaus looked at Matthias before groaning. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me. She spouts off some magical diagnosis, and we are all supposed to applaud."

"Nik, she's trying to help." Rebekah scolded him.

"Yes, but for the sake of keeping our options open, why not write down your spells and incantations? That way, we can have them double-checked by an impartial third party, say Matthias here." Klaus stated and Matthias shrugged.

"I doubt he would understand my magic, let alone have the power to execute it." Freya shot back at Klaus.

"Oh?" Matthias laughed as his eyes glowed. "I highly doubt that. Write the damn spell."

Freya sighed and Elijah handed her a piece of paper and a pen. Freya got to work on writing the spell and everything that came with it. It took a total of ten minutes before she stopped writing and held out the paper towards Matthias.

"It's done." She told him.

Matthias took the paper from her and hummed before reading it over. He raised an eyebrow and couldn't help but laugh, Freya was a lot like her mother. It was basically a complete takeover spell. Freya would eliminate the remaining bits of Eva Sinclair so that Rebekah would have full control.

At least Esther put the souls of the body to sleep so that should they jump, the host would get their life back, albeit really confused but still.

"It's rather simple." Matthias stated and Klaus seemed more at ease. "Though I must say, you truly are your mother's daughter."

Freya was disgusted by his words, there was a glare on her face as she looked at Matthias and Klaus didn't like it one bit. "I am nothing like her." Freya spat at him through gritted teeth before sighing. "I knew that it would be difficult to earn you trust, after all your reputation precedes you." Klaus gave her a grin while Matthias gave her a dull look. "But if we are to face Dahlia together, you will have to trust me." She said while standing. "Given the peril that Rebekah now faces, are you truly incapable of giving me even a chance to prove myself?"

"For what?" Matthias asked her. "You've shared nothing of use to us. You've told us your sob story which everyone has, and you told us that story in hopes of making it easier for us to trust you and my two siblings behind you are stupid enough to believe it without so much as a care for proof." Matthias told her while dangerously approaching her. "You are asking me to put the life of my child, the life of my niece, in your hands when you've told us nothing of use."

Freya gulped and everyone realized that Matthias was right. Freya hadn't told them anything about Dahlia, she had only really talked about herself. Where was the help in her story? She hadn't mentioned anything of Dahlia's weaknesses either.

"You want us to accept you, but we're the bastard twins Freya." Matthias snarled at her and Klaus was shocked at Matthias' words. "Elijah and Rebekah have reminded us countless times that we're nothing but bastards to them with their inevitable habit to betray us, so why don't you say something useful for once before I rip out your spleen."

However, Freya didn't know what to say. Matthias had spoken nothing but the truth and now she was on the spot, something she wasn't expecting, something she wasn't remotely prepared for.

"Nothing?" Matthias asked. "Okay."

With that, Matthias snapped her neck and watched as her body fell to the floor with a thud.

"Matthias!"
