Start from the beginning

"i want to break up!" he confessed.

"what? why? am i not good? are you not happy? did you get bored of me? did i do something wrong? maybe i can change som-"

"it's not that! shut up for a while" b/n yelled at you.

the first time he did it• on your four years anniversary... or so you could say.

you stayed silent, as tears appeared in the corners of your eyes. he got up from his seat and ran a hand through his hair.

"you're so clueless, it hurts! all of this was not real to me. but it was to you, wasn't it? you got so attached, it was pathetic" he chuckled.

"when we were in middle school, my friends asked me to do a dare. to date you for four years. four years end today. so that's it. it's over!" he said, leaving you shocked.

the tears rolled down your cheeks. you covered your mouth with your hand, in order to not let him hear your pathetic sobs.

he did nothing. just looked down at you.

"wait. you really fell in love with me? in love with a lie? pathetic" he said, making fun of you and hurting you more in the process.

you got up and approached him.

"what the hell were we?" you asked, voice coming out like a whisper.

"nothing! you meant nothing to me. i used you and your friends so i couldn't get called a chicken. that's all!" he admitted, a small proud smile on his face.

you looked at your feet before speaking again.

"so all those days and nights we spent together, all the words we said, every kiss we shared... everything! was it all a game to you?" you looked up at him, tears threatening to fall once again.

you watched as he nodded his head.

"are you satisfied with what you did? are you gonna be happier now that i'll be gone?"

he couldn't answer right away. he was standing there frozen, staring at you.

"staring at me won't change the questions. i'll instead add more! did you really want that or were you forced to act like this?" you continued, hoping he'd open his mouth.

admit he was lying.

and when he did open it, you knew all the dreams you had, became nightmares that will haunt you... asleep or awake.

"since i felt nothing towards you, yes, i am indeed satisfied! and i think both of us moving on from this lie, will be way better. or if you want, stick loving it. you won't change my mind. i did what i did because i wanted to! someone forcing me? pft, you must feel so stupid for even thinking that. anyways, that's were our little relationship comes to an end. you trust people way too easy! no surprise you didn't want to believe me. you were the perfect victim for this!" he said, walking past you, leaving you behind.

you turned around, only to see him walking farther away from you. he stopped just to look back and waved at you.

"goodbye y/n!" were the last words you heard from him, before he left like he didn't just admit he was playing with you and your feelings.

you watched him go, feeling the salty tears staining your cheeks once again. you looked around; the park you loved so much brought nothing but lies and pain to you.

you started walking away, trying to escape the nightmare you were in. but it was no nightmare. that was reality.

the reality he left you with.

all you wanted was to return back home and sleep. but of course sleep was only a thought.

you walked towards the direction of your house, eyes red and puffy. you could tell you were crying for hours, since the sky was welcoming the darker colors of the day. you felt numb and the pain in your chest was unbearable.

once you arrived at the front door, you reached your back pocket, taking the keys out. you were met with a sweet smell, when you opened the door but you paid no mind to it.

you locked the door behind you and looked at your shaking hand. tears were attacking your tired eyes, again. you took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down.

"oh you're back! how was-" your father stopped midway through his sentence, once he saw your face.

his eyes widened. he came closer to you and ruffled your hair.

"what's wrong? what happened, dear?" he asked, worried about you.

"it's over, dad..." was all you could choke out, before you broke down into tears again.

levi was quick to act, hugging you and trying to calm you down by whispering comforting words in your ear.

your mother came into the living room to see her husband hugging and comforting his crying daughter. you didn't have to tell her anything. she immediately knew what was up...
