[Y/N's POV]

It's been 3 weeks since the incident happened..

Carlos is okay now, though he's a lil overprotective.

I'm still gathering courage to tell him that I'm gonna leave the village since I know he'll get really upset.

I also need to make money now, I can't just keep on eating with the Madrigals, they might think I'm a burden..!

[Time Skip In the Afternoon]

I told Carlos to come meet me in the river today, I bet he's already there..

I arrived at the river and he's already there, sitting while making something.. It looked like.. A flower crown?

"I- ... I'm going back.. To the city again.."

Carlos sighed and walked off.. I sat beside the river and saw the flower crown he was working on.

It looked so beautiful.. Until I saw what was inside one of the flowers.

It was a ring.

Was he.. No. We're 15..! We can't possibly get engaged at this age..

[Sorry to interrupt you Y/N but.. You can get married at any age as long as it is 13+, and as long as there is a government and parental consent. Since there's no government in Encanto, you just need the parents consent and you can get married 😉]

I took the ring and in the corner of my eye, saw Carlos.

I look at him in shock, he was looking right back at me nervously..

He looks like he's trying to decide something. This looks like a fight or flighy kind of thought.

He took the right from me and got down on one knee.

"Y/N L/N, the most beautiful mariposa I've ever seen.. Will you marry me?"

I stood there in shock, he actually proposed to me.

Suddenly, tears were streaming from my eyes. I immediately said yes, he put the ring in my finger and got up. I lunged at him, making him fall onto his butt.
