My ears bleed
Like the rivers that fill the ocean
The blood fills my mouth
It's so silent
So deafening
I lay weak
My body is numb
From all the pain I take
I can't speak
So deafening
Love and hate and anger and apathy
I will myself to bear it all
My ears are shot
So deafening
My fraility peaks through
Says I can't take it all
The screams are so loud
So deafening
Punches and kicks and non-existent pains
My mind becomes my worst enemy
It silences my heart
That silence
So deafening
