Shit. How did my mind let that slip?! I didn't have that in my notion.
Mindlessly, I started walking back to our hotel room. Pabilis nang pabilis ang lakad ko habang kino-confirm sa 'kin ni Ciara na may plate nga kami kay Prof Uly.
"And mind you, it's due 11:59 PM tonight." Oh fuck him and his alanganin due dates! It's a Friday! It's a freaking weekend tomorrow and hadn't I been here, I would sure be sleeping already.
"Can you send me yours? Just for quick reference. Thanks, bye," tuloy tuloy kong sabi habang paulit ulit na pinipindot 'yung up button ng elevator.
I almost slipped pa when I rushed in! Tangina naman o, nag e-enjoy ako, 'di ba? I'm supposed to drink and swim until I'm dead tired. Then sleep for the whole day tomorrow in my first class hotel room.

Well, technically fault ko naman kasi hindi ko naalala. Pero I won't admit to that! I will do it and get it done but I won't blame myself for it!
Halos mapamura ako ng malakas sa harap ni Saphia nang makita ko siya sa hotel room namin. How will I get this done in here now? When literally everyone in my family doesn't know that I already shifted course?
Puta, bahala na nga. Hastily, I slipped on my windbreaker and grabbed my iPad. Dali-dali akong bumaba ulit at humanap ng café para roon magtrabaho.
I just told the cashier my order then quickly took a seat. Oh God, it's 11:30 na! Do I fucking magic a good art in under 20 minutes?

Buti na lang nakita ko na 'yung plate ni Ciara. I git an idea right away so I started drawing. I did it in the easiest way possible 'cause at this point in time, I don't care if I'm taking shortcuts just so it would come out pretty decent.
I just draw a portrait of a woman trying to hold her emotions together. When I'm satisfied with my work, I didn't even have the time to scrutinize my errors. I immediately uploaded the file right before the clock hits 11:57.
Now I have a few more minutes to breathe. I did exactly that while I leaned back on my seat, letting my shoulders and arms relax. It was pretty bad that I almost missed a plate, but it was even worse how I had to rush here dripping and looking like this. I'm ashamed of the mess I made on the floor. Oh, no.
"Here." Binigay ko 'yung bayad sa cashier at saka ko palang nakuha 'yung kanina ko pa inorder na drink. Nag order lang naman ako para kumita naman sila sa pagtambay ko roon.
"Keep the change," sabi ko nang akmang ibibigay niya ang sukli. At least a consolation for the drips of water I brought in here.
I went back to our room suddenly feeling all sleepy. I don't even have the mood to go back to the pool anymore. I laid down on the bed after I dried myself. Tinikman ko 'yung frappe na binili ko na ngayon ay sobrang lamig na.
