Chapter 1 - Sydney

I have two lives.

While a lot of people may say this, I mean it in a different way. I don't mean my home life verses my school life - no, for me it is much more ordinary than that. Everyday when i go to sleep, I wake up the next day. Except that it's not the next day. Its the same day but I'm a different person.

I am 17 years old, I go to school and I have friends. I am the same as all of you. Except I'm not. My name is Jessica. I live everyday twice. This is my life.

I wake up with a start and roll over, hearing the bed squeak slightly as I do. The mattress feels slightly different beneath me. The switch is always so disorientating.

I take a minute to get my bearings -where am I? after a minute it all comes back to me. Here, I have two brothers (one older, one younger) - Sam and Jamie, and a little sister Annabelle. My room is large, with a double bed - which I like much more than my single bed, a desk with a laptop and a massive bookshelf filled with books - I love to read. I also have a bookshelf that is filled with movies - but not here. Here, I hate movies. And bad romance novels. After I have figured out where I am, fatigue washes over me and I fall asleep again.

The blaring of my alarm wakes me up again. I roll over and groan - I've forgotten to turn my alarm off again. "Seriously Jess? you have Got to stop forgetting that!" I say to myself. I sigh and resign myself to an early start this morning and wander downstairs.

In the lounge-room, Annabelle is watching television. She looks up and smiles at me as I walk into the room and sit down next to her. I smile back - I love my little sister. We are so close compared to my relationship with my brothers here. She doesn't say anything to me - she's not a big talker. She snuggles up next to me and we watch the cartoon network together for a while. We sit and watch in silence, when she suddenly asks me "Why did Mum have to die?" I think for a minute before answering her.

Ok guys, that's the first chapter done! I feel like you should all get to know me a little bit more so here is some basic info about me:

Name: Amy

Age and school year: I am turning 18 this year (yikes!!) and am currently in year 12

Favourite TV shows? I love Doctor Who more than life itself, as well and Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. I also really like Sherlock (the BBC version) and a show called Silent Witness (also by the BBC)

Favourite movies? I instantly adore anything by Marvel and I also like Disney movies (particularly Tangled) and Dreamworks movies.

Any Pets? My family has a lot of pets actually!! We have an Australian Kelpie (dog) named Harry, two cats called Charlie and Tessa who are the family pets, and I own two Pygmy Bearded Dragons (lizards) called Romeo and Saphira.

What are your favourite books? I actually LOVE reading so much its not even funny. I cant name all my favourite books as i would be here all day, but a few of my favourites are the Vampire Academy Series and its spinoff, Bloodlines, by Richelle Mead, absolutely ALL books by Maria V. Snyder and the Breathing Series y Rebecca Donovan.

Name three of your favourite authors on Wattpad: Oh wow this is a hard one for me to decide, ummm ok, Avengers Pey is amazing (seriously read her stories, they are amazing!! I also love, love LOVE The Sorceress series by thesecretavenger - its incredible, and the Metallic Charms series by arielleblack.
