I walk over to Patrick
"I've heard a lot about you too Patrick-"
He shakes my hand with a firm grip which was a little intimidating. Maybe it was the mustache. Or the death stare he was giving me..
"Nice to meet you Audrey, you look scared. You should be." He says staring into my in soul which made my insides burn.

"I heard rumors about you sneaking around with my daughter. If you think you're welcome in my home after sneaking around with her-" I stare at him not knowing how to react as his voice started to raise but he cuts himself off giving a little smile.
Again. What the fuck is going on.
"I'm messing with ya, come here." He chuckles pulling me into a side hug, rubbing my shoulder
"My god." I start to breathe again, taking a deep breath
Finneas starts dying as my face heats up
"That was mean.." Maggie says walking off into the kitchen
"You should've saw your face!" Finneas laughs harder
"You're an ass Finneas." Claudia steps in to say
"I'm sorry Audrey, he made me.. Welcome to the family." Patrick says with a smile on his face but was slightly hidden behind his mustache.
"I'm gonna assume those are for me?" He playfully asks
"Actually-"
"MOM PEPPER SHIT IN MY SHOE!!" She yells coming out of her room
"Clean it and throw them in the wash Billie, where is she?" she yells back from the kitchen
"Her ass is going outside, fuck outta here."
She takes her dog to the backyard then comes back into the house
"What's going on in here-" She asks but gasps when she lays her eyes on mine
"Audreyyy!!!" she jumps into my arms and i hug her back "I didn't think you'd actually show up," she says honestly
"Well she's here, don't be an asshole." Finneas says as she pulls away
"Says you," Patrick says, making his way to the kitchen
"You were in on it!" Finneas shouts
"Mom when's dinner gonna be ready?" Billie yells
"30 minutes!"
She redirects her gaze to me and I smile
"I got these for you.." I showcase the flowers before she takes them out of my hand pouting
"They're so pretty, thank you Audrey."
