One

"Heading out?" I ask Lexi, looking up from writing. Lexi is my bestest friend of all people, even my bandmates are behind her. We've been friends since she was two and I was four. We're 24 and I'm a few days shy of 26. Fixing her work bag on her shoulder then quick leaning against the wall to fix one of the pleasers, "Yup. I'll be back in about five hours. Also, Andre said he's willing to reserve the club for your birthday on Thursday. Free, too." She yawned. Lexi is a damn good hard worker and puts so much time, effort and passion into her craft. I haven't seen her do it in person because like...that's my best friend but I've seen her practise some. I think it's time I support her fully. "For sure. Let him know I'm down. Have fun and keep me posted. Get that bread, queen." I always hype her up every shift. Lexi did a partial dance and twerk while leaving the front door, "Bet your sweet ass I will." She laughed in response then leaving. Lexi is awesome as hell. I went back to writing some more then remembered I should let my boys know of my party. Lex is a gem for getting a party arranged for me. Especially a stripper party! That's honestly pretty dope. We're all in for the party, it's gonna be a (maybe not so) memorable. Might be very boozy so who knows if we'll remember.

"I'm back." Lex happily bragged as she came in. I am still up writing. "How was your night?" I asked. "Amazing! Seriously each shift gets better and better. I'm killin' it." She chirped, pulling out the money and showering it on me as I laid on the couch. A few 5s, a couple 10s, but mostly the lowest I've seen are 20s; she rakes in more 20s, 50s, and 100s than anything. "Fucking Christ! Good job!" I hyped her up. Lex warmly smiled, picking up the bills she showered down on me, "Thank you!" She laughed thru a yawn. Lex flexes on fantastic nights. And on any other night she's just glad to be home. "Now go get some rest. Proud of you Lex." I congratulated and partially hugging her. "Thank you! Good night, and you get some rest too." Lex yawned and quick squeezed me before letting go and going up to bed. So proud of her and so excited for my party.
