"Rick the air conditioning is broke again" I called to my boss Rick banging my hand off the air conditioning to make it work like what my boss does
"I'll get it y/n there's costumers" he informed
I work at the little Convenience store making very little income only enough to pay my bills and for food in my belly clothes on my back I did enjoy it
I stood behind the counter as the two customers looked for what they needed it was too hot the sun reflecting off the glass windows illuminating the store
"Hey toots" a voice said earning my attention a man with black greasy hair sporting a white vest and a leather jacket he placed a case of beer on the counter for me to price up
"Anything else for you" I asked giving the man a polite smile
"Yeah how about a night out" he smirked leaning on the counter
"Hey Billy look at this I'm gon get this" another man called jogging up to the counter he was shorter had lighter curly hair and the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen
"Yeah yeah" the man with the leather Jacket mumbled to the other man
"I'm Billy and this is my little brother vergil" he introduced themselves with a grin "Nice to meet you I'm y/n" I smiled my eyes still focused on the younger brother vergil
"That's a pretty name" vergil said handing me his comic book making my blush at his comment
"Why thank you vergil" I replied tallying up the price of their purchase
"That's $10" I said Billy handed me a ten dollar note
"So how about night out" Billy asked to be honest as much as Billy is attractive but vergil was more my type
"I'm flattered Billy but I'm not really interested in nights out" I politely said
"Why" vergil asked Billy clearly took the hint though by the shocked look on his face I couldn't help but smile at vergils cuteness "just not interested" I chuckled trying to hide the blush creeping to my cheeks
"Anyway we gotta go vergil has to go to work see ya toots" Billy said throwing his arm over his brothers shoulder
"See you later" I said
"Bye y/n" vergil waved with a smile
"Bye vergil" I returned with a smile and a wave
When the boys left Rick came out looking a bit worried
"Everything alright rick" I asked
"What did they say" he asked me
"Nothing Billy and vergil are good guys well vergil by the looks of it" I chuckled
"you know the deluca brothers" he asked me That's when the realisation hit me
(Vergil pov)
We got into the car my comic in hand whilst Bill drove me to work
"Mrs grafungar still being a bitch is she" Billy asked I nodded in response stuck in my comic book but my mind was on y/n how beautiful she looked when I first laid eyes on her she was absolutely breathtaking I just don't know why she never took Billy up on his offer
"Y/n really pretty ain't she billy" I mumbled facing Billy
"Ah little brothers got a crush for the cashier" Billy teased nudging my shoulder with his arm making me hide my face to hide my red face
"No I don't" I instantly said lying to my brother "Don't lie to me vergil she likes you too" Billy smirked giving me a quick glance "you really think so Billy" I asked a hint of hope and excitement in my voice
"Yeah little brother I do" I could tell Billy was hiding his anger about it
(Y/ns pov)
It's been a couple of days since I last saw the deluca brothers in the store I was waiting on a delivery coming in from the ice cream factory Rick took the day off since it was him and his wife's anniversary
I was fumbling about with the tore on my black tight I wore patiently waiting on the delivery to arrive
Within five minutes the delivery truck was outside the store finally I opened the store doors so the delivery men can take the boxes in
"Vergil hi" I smiled I didn't know he worked at the ice cream factory he was with another guy
"Hey y/n how are you" he asked placing the box down by the counter
"Yeah not bad what about you" I replied as the last box was being dropped off
"Yeah okay" he shrugged he did look a bit upset
"Vergil what's wrong" I asked placing my hand on his shoulder
"Nothing it's stupid" he mumbled not looking at me
"How can it be stupid come on you can trust me I'm your friend" I smiled warmly
"Vergil I'll be in the van waiting" the other man said Vergil nodded to him
"It's just I like you a lot and Billy likes you too and he thinks I'm an idiot for thinking you could maybe like me" he mumbled looking down at his feet
"Oh Vergil of cause I like you too Billy is just saying that cause I don't like him like I like you" I chuckled his blue eyes lit up a soft smile on his face
"Really" he asked I nodded in response
"Yeah Vergil I like you too"
