I don't want to write a slow story which takes a while for it to get where I want it to, so this one will start at the end.
I accept criticism because I want to be corrected so I can improve myself.
I want to write a dark story, completely out of my comfort zone. I want to be able to write in the same genre that I read, so I'm praying for myself here.
Honestly, I don't care if this gets any reads or not because I'm solely writing for my own enjoyment, so that means there will not be regular updates.

Trigger warnings:

- Pain
- Sorrow
- Death
- Heartbreak
- Coercion
- Manipulation
- Various kinks which will be mentioned at the start of the chapter.
- Assault (including sexual assault)
- Sexual themes

I'll always mention a trigger warning at the beginning of the chapter.

"Broken," is what they called him. After his mother's mysterious murder and his father's daily drinking, he was left all alone in the dark. Not that he minded, the dark was his friend. His now only friend.

He didn't cry when he found his mother's body covered in blood and petals of white roses, thorns striking her skin in the most horrendous ways. He just stared. Stared so plainly that he looked more dead than the corpse before him. After an insidious silence, his father ran up to him, and as soon as his wife's body came in his view, he let out a shrilling scream which brought life back to Draco.

This was three years ago, yet he still hadn't grieved.

But that wasn't it. A month prior, he had just lost his wife, Astoria. She was a beautiful soul, eyes browner than the bark of the tree, her hair long and luscious. She stole the breath of everyone with her golden smile, and her heart was the kindest, and purest ever created. He loved her more than the world itself, and promised to keep her safe no matter what. He had promised to love her until his last breath, and he was determined.

Until she came. Y/n y/l/n. She was the new head healer, a.k.a, Draco's new boss. She was different. Different than Astoria, than his mother, than anyone he ever loved. Good different? Good question, I mean, no one likes a change, right?

She reminded him of... himself, because she fell in love with the devil.
