I don't know where I am, the cold metal piercing me felt like fire in my veins as I twisted and screamed, the suit crumpling to the floor. Darkness surrounded me as I desperately looked for any source of light. The smell of musty fur and metallic taste of blood overwhelmed my senses. The only light was from the crack on the bottom of the door highlighting the thing in front of me. Why wasn't he helping me? He was laughing at my pain, my suffering, he was mocking my death. Crying out for my mother over and over begging to be released from the hell I was suffering now. I was only eight, how could I deserve such a fate? He moved over to where I sat the suit locking into place, but it wasn't a man. It was a golden rabbit staring back at me. This had to be a dream right? No, a nightmare. Whatever was in front of me smelt of mold and mildew. Blood splattered across the golden fur matting it as it dried on the suit. Mechanical parts clicked as the rabbit stood up at full attention once more, the body going still, the door handle began to rattle and shake. I screamed, screamed louder then ever before but nothing was to come out as it pierced my neck cutting off any chance I had left to escape this demented tourturous death. What I saw in my final moments of life was the golden rabbit pulling off his head and laughing maniacally. The door was locked. The spring locks completed their triggers. My face frozen in the agonized scream for help, everything fading to black around me.
It was freezing. I felt nothing, no metal, I could move. Was it a dream after all? I looked around to see the same pizzeria I had been lured away from. Looking around cautiously, wandering the abandoned restaurant It never struck me that being here was wrong.
A small light was emitting from a hallway from the back of the restaurant. Making my way down the hall a security guard sat watching cameras dutifully. I marched to his door and looked through the glass window.Knocking on the door no sound came from the heavy metal sheet blocking me from my savior. Knocking harde against the door, my body phased through the metal into the room. He hadn't moved an inch from where he sat. the office had been here a long time from the looks of it. Childrens drawings scattered about and taped to part of the windows a molding cupcake sat upon a filing cabinet, the fondant face melting from the molding icing. A fake candle still stood upright in the center, the fake flame a bright yellow. The security guard was so calm about me being here. How he could not have seen or heard me! I'm free , I'm alive . I made it out of that nightmare and I need to go home to my mother! I went to his side and pulled on his chair but my hands couldn't grasp the edges of the office chair and I fell back onto the floor. Standing once more I went and stood in front of him waving my arms. I tried to yell out but nothing came out of my mouth. I froze in place as the realization hit. There was never a moment in my life in which I wished I could cry. Crumpling to the floor holding my knees to my chest nothing came out no matter how hard I tried to cry.
And only just then the security guard's phone began to ring.
"Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact.'' The guard had placed the message on speakerphone and could care less of the man's voice as it rang throughout the office. Uh, let's see, first there's an introductory greeting from the company that I'm supposed to read. Uh, it's kind of a legal thing, you know. Um, "Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life." I watched the guard as he slammed on the mute button going back to messing with the monitors watching Pirates cove and the main stage. Anger began to bubble up within my chest. This was the man that was supposed to protect me? This is why I lost my life? Because he didn't care to listen to the safety protocols?! The anger bubbled up more and more till I was boiling over and stormed out of the room. I had lost my life to an incompetent man and he was going to pay!
