Arriving

Aaron's POV

Getting out of the car I stared at the mansion, it was dark and ominous. I remember living here when I was little, but it has changed drastically. Kim didn't like it and said she wanted to leave but Garroth grabbed her and pushed her inside. It was dark enough that no one could see the light switch, we searched the walls to find a way to turn the lights on, Lucinda shouted out saying she found it and then flicked it. Nothing happened, we all found our way back to each other and lit three candles. We all knew the electricity was out, I suggested we split up to look for the circuit breaker, Kim said she would go outside to look and suggested that the rest of us stay together. Lucinda didn't like that idea saying she could get lost but Kim insisted. Kim went outside but we ignored what she said and split up saying to meet back here in half an hour or when the lights turn on. I went upstairs and started searching rooms, I went into a room that seemed so familiar it was eerie. It was my room as a child, I remembered when my mum came in here telling me everything was going to be okay and that I didn't need to worry about what other werewolves thought of me. I started crying. Suddenly there was a creaking noise from behind me and I turned around to see Garroth looking around the room in wonder. He remembered me inviting him over and we would play in this very room. I didn't remember anything looking like a fuse box in here so we left and we went back to the foyer where Kim and Lucinda were waiting for us. Kim was panicking thinking what could've happened to us, Lucinda was trying to calm Kim down by saying she could still sense us, when Kim saw us she was ecstatic and ran over to Garroth and hugged him. She shouted saying how worried she was that something had happened to us, Garroth calmed her down and then he went over to the fireplace to try and start the fire. Lucinda, Kim and I sat down and started to discuss where we had all been and where we hadn't. I said Garroth and I had checked the whole second floor and Lucinda said she had checked everywhere on the first floor except for the garage, Kim said she hadn't checked there because it was darker than the rest of the mansion and was too scared to go inside alone. We decided to check there next, Garroth turned around and looked annoyed saying the fireplace wouldn't work because the boiler was off as well, Lucinda said the boiler must be with the fuse box and that we should go to the garage now since it was the only place we hadn't checked. As we got up to check the garage I thought to myself *I wonder what Aph's up to right now*
