Episode 1: Ben 10 Returns (Part 1)

A/N: Welcome readers, new and old! I highly recommend reading my first Ben 10 book before you read this one-but you can do what you want. To all the people who have already read my old book, thanks for the support and motivation to move on to Alien Force. You're all amazing 💚

P.S., A lot is said in this chapter that isn't going to make sense. Anything that doesn't make sense to my book canon will be explain later down the road. Also, now that Ben and Y/N have been dating for a while, I'm gonna have some real fun with this book *evil laugh*. Enjoy~

I stuff my hands in my pockets, grinning lazily as I walk up to Ben.

He hasn't even noticed me yet. He's too busy admiring his medal. I chuckle "Aw, look who's showing off." I tease playfully. Ben flinches and looks down at me. His cheeks redden, "Oh-um, I wasn't showing off. I mean-I AM gonna to it to Grandpa. I guess that is sort of showing off..." Ben rambles. I laugh "Benji, you make it too easy." I giggle, kissing his cheek.

"Sorry, I missed the game. The art club meeting had to be moved up. But looking at the medal, I'm guessing it went well?" I hum "Yeah! Aw, I wish you could've been there." Ben says, holding the steering wheel of his bike "Wanna come with me?" He asks "Duh, I could never pass up a trip to see Max! Ugh, it's been forever!" I groan "You live with him." Ben chuckles "Still, I haven't seen him since breakfast." I hum.

Ben hops on his bike "Hop on." He says, I blink at him "Yeah no. I'm fine walking." I say "What's the matter? Worried about being up close and personal?" Ben teases, wiggling his eyebrows "I will push you off that bike." I warn playfully, blushing "You could never. Come on, I promise you won't fall off...again." Ben states "You're not gonna leave until I get on that bike, huh?" I ask, crossing my arms. Ben opens his mouth before pausing "Wait, is that my hoodie?" He asks, grinning widely "It's mine now." I state firmly, hugging the green hoodie close. Ben laughs "If you ride with me, it will be." He says, smirking at me.

I shove Ben a little so he scoots up, I sit behind him. "If I fall, I'm calling you Tennyson for a week." I state "Ew, please don't," Ben gags before peddling off "I'll go slow this time." I hold onto him carefully. We leave the school, "So how've you been?" Ben asks suddenly "You ask that like we don't talk everyday." I hum.

"Well...I know you've had a lot going on for a while. Just wanna make sure you're ok." Ben says seriously, my cheeks redden and I groan. I bury my face in Ben's back "Ugh, stop being a good boyfriend!" I sigh "Never," Ben laughs "I've had 5 years to perfect my craft." "5 years? Geez you're old." I snort. "Hey, we're the exact same age." Ben huffs, "Uh uh, I'm a couple minutes younger, Gramps." I joke lightly before frowning sadly. "I'm serious though, you've been ok?" Ben asks "As ok as I can be. It's honestly still weird not using my powers anymore, but I think I've officially gotten used to it. It's for the better anyway...especially after what happened..." I tell him "It takes time to adjust, it feels like it took me forever to stop reaching for the Omnitrix every 10 minutes." Ben states

He got the Omnitrix off when he was 12, Max made me promise to stop using my powers when I was 14.

They were started to caused a lot more trouble...d*mn teenage emotions.

"Aw, I miss you shouting Hero-Time! After having a nightmare." I giggle, Ben giggles too. "How's living with Grandpa?" Ben asks "Not as weird as I thought, it's just like the summers we spent with him as kids, but he's more opened to ordering pizza or letting me cook." I state as we enter the trailer park. "Overall, everything's ok?" Ben asks "I feel good enough to say yes." I say, Ben stops the bike. I get off before Ben does, Ben leans his bike onto the Rust Bucket 2.
