Grace's Adventure In Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

Chapter 8

A while later, Han, Leia, Grace, Lando and Chewbacca who's carrying the dismembered C3PO on his back were taking to a room where there was Darth Vader and the other Stormtroopers

"If only you'd attached my legs, I wouldn't be in this ridiculous position. Now remember, Chewbacca, you have a responsibility to me, so don't do anything foolish!" C3PO said

"What's going on... Buddy?" Han asked Lando

"You're being put into carbon-freeze" Lando said and Grace gasped a little bit

As Chewie tries to fight off the imperials and free Han

"Oh, no! No, no, no! Stop, Chewbacca! Stop!" Han said

Boba Fett prepares to blast him but Darth Vader blocks him

"No! Chewie, stop! You're gonna get us all killed! Chewie, stop!" Han said

"Oh, yes! Stop, please! I am not ready to die!" C3PO panicked

"Hey, hey! Listen to me, Chewie! Chewie, this won't help me! Hey! Save your strength. There'll be another time" Han said "the Princess. You have to take care of her. You hear me? Huh?"

Leia and Han share a passionate kiss before Han was dragged towards the freezing chamber by the imperials

"I love you" Leia said

"I know" Han said

Then he went down and smoke came, Grace turned away, then when it came up, Han was frozen, Lando went to check on him and Grace tried so hard not to cry, but Chewie comfort her

"Oh, they've encased him carbonite" C3PO said "he should be quite well protected, if he survived the freezing process that is"

"Well Calrissian, did he survive?" Vader asked

"Yes, he's alive" Lando said "and in perfect hibernation"

"He's all yours, Bounty Hunter" Vader said "reset the chamber for Skywalker"

A solider came and said "Skywalker has just landed, lord"

"Good, see it to that he finds his way in here" Vader suggested

As Lando tries to take Leia, Chewie and Grace, Vader said "Calrissian, take the princess, the child and the Wookie to my ship"

"You said they'd be left in the city under my supervision" Lando said

"I am altering the deal" Vader said "pray I don't alter it any further" and he leaves

A while later, as the solider, the Stormtroopers and Lando were about to take Leia, Grace, Chewie and C3PO to Vader's ship, they noticed someone's there, so the Stormtroppers keeps blasting the person and that person was Luke

When they noticed Luke, Grace screamed "LUKE, LUKE, DON'T IT'S A TRAP, IT'S A TRAP!" and then a Stormtrooper picked her up and carried her away as she kept screaming

Then they were stopped by the guards, Lando gets the Stormtrooper to put Grace down, as he did she ran to Leia and hugged her

Lando said to Lobot, his aide "well done. Hold them in the security tower, and keep it quiet. Move"

Lando's aide and their men walk off with the Stormtroopers as Lando hands Leia the imperials' weapons and starts taking off Chewie's cuffs

"What do you think you're doing?" Leia said

"We're getting out of here" Lando said

"I knew all along. Had to be a mistake" C3PO said

"Do you think that after what you did to Han that we're going to trust you?" Leia angrily

Chewie grabs Lando by the throat

"I had no choice!" Lando chocking

"What are you doing? Trust him, trust him!" C3PO said

"Oh, well, we understand, don't we, Chewie. You had no choice" Leia said

"Just trying to help..." Lando said

"We don't need any of your help!" Leia said

"Han! Ha- Ha..." Lando gasped

"What?" Leia asked

"HAN!" Lando gasped again

"It sounds like Han!" Grace said

"There's still a chance to save Han! At the east... platform!" Lando gasping

"Chewie!" Leia said and gets Chewie to drop Lando and they ran off

"I'm terribly sorry about all this. After all, he's only a Wookiee!" C3PO said

But as they ran out outside, it was too late, the ship that has Han has flew away

"Oh no, Chewie they're behind you" C3PO panicked, they turned around and saw Stormtroopers started shooting at them

"Grace, get behind me" Leia said and she did and they went inside

They run around to find a door to get to the Millennium Falcon and of course to get away from the Stormtroopers, as R2 finally got the door opened, C3PO said "I never doubted you for a second, wonderful"

They ran out, Grace immediately ran into the ship before R2, Chewie and C3PO while Lando and Leia were shooting at the Stormtroopers. As they finally went in, they took off and flew away

As they were flying away, Grace felt the ship was turning around, she got confused, so she went to the cockpit and asked "what's going on?"

"We had to go back, I know where Luke is" Leia said

As they got there, Lando said as he points at someone who is dangling "look, someone's up there"

"It's Luke" Grace said

"Chewie, slow down" Leia said "slow down, we'll get under him, Lando open the top hatch" and Lando left

Then as they finally made it to Luke, he fell into the top hatch

"Lando?" Leia said

"Ok, let's go" Leia said and they went off

Lando and Luck came into the cockpit, Leia and Grace ran to Luke and they hugged

"Oh Leia, Grace" Luke said

"Alright Chewie, let's go" Lando said and Luke, Leia and Grace wen to the other room to get Luke some rest

As he lied down, the ship have been shot making the ship move a lot, Leia said "I'll be back, Grace stay with Luke"

"Yes Leia" Grace said and Leia ran back to the cockpit

Then she heard Luke saying "father! Ben why didn't you tell me?" and she realized that Luke found out that his father is Darth Vader

But she saw Luke going out of bed, she stopped him and said "Luke, what are you doing?"

"Don't worry Grace, I'm okay" Luke said ad he went o the cockpit

"R2, come back at once, you haven't finished with me yet" C3PO said "you don't know how to fix the hyperdrive, Chewbacca can do it, I'm standing here in pieces and you're having delusions of grandeur"

Then R2 turned something that making the hyperdrive turn on, then the ship went on light speed, making R2 fell in the pit and Grace scream as she was pushed to the back of the ship so fast that she hit her head against the wall and it made fell down

"You did it" C3PO said and then he noticed Grace was on the ground facing down "oh dear"
