Family Awkwardness

Tommy POV

I was just organizing the ores and my lapiz until I heard my door open to see my "family"

"Wow this is almost the whole family reunion we just need my son and Nephew and then we're set," I said going back to organizing my things ignoring the painful looks they gave when I said son

"Soo mate I need a new sword my katana broke," Phil said putting his katana in the desk

"My orphan obliterator just need sharpening," Techno said putting a very dull sword

"I just need a weapon that works for me," Wilbur says I just nodded

"Ok follow me to the back," I said making the others follow showing an arrangement of swords and axe and their subclasses I took a rapier and gave it to Wilbur

"Give it a try," I said putting a dummy and going to sharpen Techno sword

Wilbur was just trying it out not really liking the handle he really wasn't a weapon person as he was more of a wordsmith

"I don't like it," Wilbur said making Tommy stop sharpening Techno sword to get another sword this time he gave him a curved sword pirates usually use

"Try this one," I said going back to sharpening

It's been quiet for a while until Philza spoke

"So you got a son now do you need help," Phil said making me slam my fist to the table making the whole room quite

"I'm fine Philza," I said returning to sharpening Techno sword

Wilbur kept trying to use a sword until he just gave up

"No I'm just not meant to use a sword can't I just talk my way out of shit," Wilbur says making Techno look at him I just growled

"Not everything can be solved with words Wilbur we tried in l'manburg when they choose violence and guess what we would have died so keep your bullshit ideals down because they will get you nowhere there are more swords in the back either get one that you like or go die outside in the real world," I said letting out a bit more than I felt making Wilbur just look away

"Here your swords sharpen," I said giving techno his sword while getting new material and mold to make a new katana for Phil

It's been quiet for a while and all I'm doing is just hammering the katana to place so I just left it to check my store to see them still there but in a circle talking to each other I was just annoyed and went back into the workshop and making Phil's katana

Soon enough I finished and I got the katana and compared the handles of the old one seeing it was similar in shape made me proud of it

"Okay dickheads it's time for you all to pay" I yelled at them seeing Wilbur with a Rapier I gave him earlier

"And I would like to add this" Wilbur said putting it next to the weapons

"12 Emeralds," I said making them jump at the price

"That's expensive," Techno said

"Sharpening cost less but making a new sword from scratch will be costly and buying a new sword will add up to this so pay up," I said just wanting to go to sleep

They pay up and left until I heard Phil say something

"Hey Tommy how about you and your son join us to a family dinner I want to see my first grandson," Phil said hoping he can see his grandson but Tommy scowled

"First? FIRST? Did you really forget Fundy was your first grandson Phil because I don't apparently you don't want to include him to our family still huh get out i don't want to see you unless it's just for business" I said making Phil leave

I just want our family fixed but it seems like Phil Really needs to pay attention to our family before it can be fixed
