She found her-self in a cave of thoughts. That drained her down. So she ended up taking a nap, an drawn-out nap. One that would give her power after she woke up, that would give her lifeless body a reason to be alive. She seen him... in her thoughts before, you may be wondering who "him" is. For that, I will say "him" is, her reason to live. As she started dozing off to sleep, she seen the shadow around his body. Around his torso making him look... lovely. The feeling she got staring at him and his shadow, made her lofty. She finally understood the word soaring. The way that everyone said they were "high off love", oh how she finally understood. This all was because of seeing him everywhere she went, in the dark spaces or the in-between cracks of space just going anywhere. He had this feeling to him that gave her an elevated feeling. As she watched him with his caring and passionate look, she felt safe. He had thought he had feelings deep feelings that were better than any humans. Even though he was only a dream he felt real. She made him feel real. He didn't doubt, not once that he was alive. He never wanted to sleep because she was never in his dreams. So he never slept. He waited for her. Always. He held her in his arms until she slept (that's when she woke up). He would wait for her forever.
She always thought that she was right. She always had him no matter if she was hurt or completely okay. She didn't need anyone else, because after years of heartbreak, years of hurt, and people who hurt her, she had him. She always told him she felt safe with him. He always told her that, that was all that mattered. That and her happiness.
She occasionally sat down and thought, after her whole day was over. "What if he was real, what if life was better with him in it. And not while I sleep." She would go to sleep thinking about him, see him there, and wake up with him not there.
After some time it got hard.
She was afraid...
